Dan's POV
08:45:09
As soon as I wake up that morning I could feel this was an important day. This was the day. Today I would meet my soul mate, whether I wanted it to happen or not.
With everything I did that morning I could feel this day would define my life. It kept drilling through my head. While brushing my teeth, while washing my face, while straightening my hair, while putting on my school uniform, while eating my breakfast and even when I locked the door behind me as I was the last one to leave the house that morning. Today was very important

As soon as the bell rings I sigh and grab my stuff. I just had a incredibly hard geography test and I was more than ready to go home and just relax, after I met the one of course.
I was still a bit confused. My wrist said I still had another 22 minutes before I would meet my soul mate. I didn't understand it. It only took me about 15 minutes to walk home, maybe 17 if I walked slow. Would I meet my soul mate at home...
But that is not at all what happened.
When I walked to my locker to grab my coat someone suddenly grabbed my shoulder and turned me around. I was faced with Steve.
"Hey loser" he says
"H-hey" I reply quietly, cringing a bit at the use of his words.
"Do you understand the science homework?" he asks, sounding almost nice.
"Yes, I- I think so" I reply hesitatingly.
"Great than you can do mine" he says with an evily smirk. He hands me his science homework. Confused I stare at him.
I don't know where this courage comes from but I suddenly hear myself say something.
"Like I have a choice"
It came out as a whisper but I am sure he heard it.
"What did you just say" he whispers venomously.
"N-n-nothing" I say quickly while taking his science homework from him and I put it in my backpack. I didn't want to get him to beat me up or something. But it seems like he has different plans.
While he grabs me by my collar of my blouse he puts his mouth closely to my ear and whispers; "I'm sure that was nothing you fucking nerd"
And with that he pulls me to the nearest boys bathroom by my collar.
When we are inside he lets go of my collar. I gasp for air. He didn't give me a chance to recover and he backs me up to the wall next to the door while he locks it.
"Oh look the faggot finally decided to open up his mouth. It's ashame he can only say useless things!' he emphasizes his words with a punch in my stomach. I groan.
"Well let me tell you something loser. No one cares about what you have to say. I told you so many times" he smirks evily again while trowing a rather hard punch to my shoulder.
"I certainly don't" another punch dangerously close to my temple.
I push myself in the wall, praying that I can fall through it but of course, that is not happening.
"Let me give you two options mate. One: you do my homework or two: you don't and than we can have some more time together tomorrow. Your choice" and with that he unlocks the bathroom door and walks out but not without another punch to my neck.
