EDITED

Bonnie fought with Alaric/Klaus and pretended to die, that the power was too much for her body. Elena had freaked out with a total melt down, granted she thought her best friend was dead but it was very dramatic. Lots of snot and tears.
Now Bonnie and Jeremy are at the old witches house staying hidden so Klaus doesn't get wind that she's still alive.

Klaus thinks Bonnie is dead and that is the leverage we have.
Elena is a little upset with me for keeping the plan a secret from her. But Damon and I both agree when we say her tears, fear and sadness about Bonnie's death made Klaus buy the whole thing.

Damon waits for me to come closer to the door,

"I can't get in because I haven't been invited. You'll have to knock and such."

I nod and smirk,

"Alaric, are you home? Debria...Lockwood, Damon's friend," I say as I knock on the door twice.

No response. I shrug and open the door with the handle. It's unlocked.

A sigh of relief from inside the door hits our ears,

"Thank God."

I enter and eye up the evil doppelgänger,

"Katherine.?"

Katherine rolls her eyes at me and sighs defeatedly,

"Oh great the she-wolf."

Damon can't enter but he looks at Katherine in amusement,

"Thought you might be dead."

Katherine grimaces uncomfortably,

"Unfortunately, I'm not."
