My eyes and ears opened to the sudden rush of screaming and shouting. I jumped up, fast. I ran towards the source of screaming and shouting wondering in my head where mom and dad would be.
I arrived at the scene. My eyes couldn't believe what I had just seen. The sun shined upon two bodies which just re-confirmed the horrible sight. What laid upon me was the lifeless body of my mom and dad.
I ran towards them unable to comprehend any words of the scene. I looked around to see if anybody was up. It was early in the morning, I knew nobody had been awake at that time. All I could do was generate a water-flowing amount of tears. I suddenly felt someone tug at my arm. I looked down, it was my mom.
"Are you okay sweetheart?" She mumbled.
I told her I was fine and that I was going to get help! Her last moments were those words and a smile... and like that... both my parents were gone.
