~ ~ ~ Happy Valentines day everyone!!!! (Throws hearts and banners in the air) Sorry if I'm not updating, it's that time of year I hate: Science Fair. I have to work on my stupid science project! Hope you enjoy this short little Claycy Valentine's Day story. (I also posted this on a few other books.) ~ ~ ~

Oh, and yeah, the pic above. All credits go to SparkleBeamX on DeviantArt.

Also, I'm gonna put this as a KnightonHighSchool theme. I know I discontinued it temporarily but it's gonna be back soon. Inspired by contest entry by @Dreamercloud8.

So..yeah. A highschool theme. Enjoy ^.^

(Clay's POV)

I woke up to see my blue blanket (XD yeah) covering my head. I groaned as I shifted out of bed to the noise of spoons clattering on bowls. What day was it? Then my mind snapped back to reality.

It was Valentine's Day! How could I forget? Today's my day to prove Macy. I WILL be her boyfriend (courage.)!

I took out the new shield from my secret drawer (don't ask). I was pretty proud of myself for making that gift for Macy. The shield design was split in half, a red dragon on the left and a blue eagle on the right. I also wrote a card saying:

Your armor is red

My armor is blue

Say you love me,

And I will love you. XOXO your teammate Clay~

Suddenly, there was a shout and a crash. "Woo-hoo!"

"Aaron, is that you?" I asked as I made my way to the breakfast table.

Aaron grinned and yelled, "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY KNIGHTS!!!!" At the top of his lungs.

I covered my ears as Axl made a speech about loving food. "Where's Macy?" I asked.

"She went to school early." Lance grabbed a glass of Lance-tastic soda.

"Thanks. Bye"

Taking my backpack, I walked all the way to Knighton High, thinking of ways to impress Macy. Fighting skills? Singing (nah)?

As I trudged up the stairs, I heard voices.

Screaming. Yelling. Burning. Monsters.

I quickly rummaged through my pack. Dang it (sorry I feel damn is a bit..not me.)!  I forgot my sword! What was I thinking?

Sure enough, students were running and screaming out of the school. There was fire on the field. I tugged on the nearest fire extinguisher until the glass exploded (I covered my eyes) and luckily it didn't cut me. I squeezed the handle and powerful jets of water exploded from the nozzle, clearing out the fire but also soaking the grass and the students.

"Sorry." I made a face like this 😬 (Whaddya call that?) and suddenly a thought ran into my head.

"Where's Macy?" I asked a student. What if she's dead?...

Calm down, Clay. You're thinking way to abstract, I thought to myself. But the thought burned into my head and without letting the student reply, I rushed inside, looking for my crush.

And then I saw a red-armored figure blocking off the monsters that were attacking some girls who were acting freakish and dropping their makeup.

See, this is why I like Macy. She is brave, yet kind (not to Lance though - he deserves it.) and loyal. Macy never wears makeup. Also she's pretty, too.

"Hi-yah! Take THIS, monster jerks!" A yell came from the hallway.

I entered the room and saw Macy standing next to a couple of defeated monsters, namely Burnzie, Sparks, and those other like-them storm monsters.

"You're safe!" Without thinking, I hugged Macy tightly. "Yeah" Macy replied as we got out on the field. My knight friends had arrived seeing what the fuss is about.

"Oh, and happy Valentine's Day," I breathed in and slowly took out the shield from my pack and handed it to Macy.

"Oh, Clay, thank you." She gushed. "You know, I really like you, more than a friend." I said to her, hoping she would understand.

"Me too, Clay. I had to find proof, and you're the right guy." Macy answered.

"HEY, when are you two lovebirds gonna kiss?" Aaron asked loudly. I blushed. "Aaron, sshh!"

"I'll get the popcorn!" Axl declared.

By the time Aaron had announced that, the whole school started to chant. "KISS, KISS, KISS!"

I asked Macy, "Should we?"

Instead of an answer, she kissed me. Right on the lips! The crowd cheered.

It was the best Valentine's Day of my life.
