Chapter 01

They have a huge living room and I didn't went after them, I went to where I could smell that very pleasant scent as if it's pulling me towards that thing.

Chris, Clark, the beta named Amon, and other high rank members went inside the pack house to talk to the alpha and we were left there and some of our members were already socializing with the other pack members.

But I found myself walking to the pack house, chasing that very luscious smell and went inside. The living room was also filled with kids and woman, gathered inside and my eyes scanned the room. I know that smell belongs to one of the people there. My mate. And I couldn't help but feel excited!

I've been waiting for my life to find him and all along, my mate's here. In another pack's land!

I slid into the gathering crowd as the smell became stronger and I turned my head when a kid passed by and then followed by another kid up to the stairs.

I couldn't help but stare at the last kid making me feel surprised and at the same time confused and glad. My wolf inside just jumped in happiness.

My mate's a little kid!? I think he's still four to six years old. He's still so young!

Is it even possible!?

I looked around thinking maybe I mistook it but the smell was coming from the second floor of the house.

It's seriously him! No doubt about it!

So what am I gonna do? Does that mean I have to wait for how many years before he can recognize me that I'm his mate? Wow.

I jumped in surprise when something touched my shoulder. It was Lian, one of my friend, and I elbowed him but he dodged it while laughing at me.

"Don't do that again." I said and he just shrugged.

"Alpha Chris' calling you." He said and lead me to the meeting room where they were gathered.

They discussed about important matters and information about the up coming war and I was only observing the people that were gathered there. It was my first time seeing the second alpha of that pack and he looked nicer unlike the other one named Kurt. He was so obvious that he's not listening. He was only nodding his head but I know he just let those words pass through his other ear.

After that meeting I asked the beta which named Luke for directions to their library who gladly lead me the way. They have a huge circular library and it's amazing. So many books that's waiting for me to be read.

"Thank you beta." I said and I heard him chuckle.

"Cut the formalities. Just call me Luke." He said.

I like him already.

"Eziel." I said and we shake hands before he leave me alone on that heavenly place.

I started skimming the shelves and I saw some of the books there were I already read before. A huge black hard bound book was placed on the long mahogany table that looked as if someone just read them and leave it there.

It was titled Special Abilities in gold letters and it piqued my interest that I left the book I picked and pulled the black book. I was surprised when I flipped the book open because it smelt like him. It smelt like my mate.

He's been there not long ago.

That book was about werewolves who possessed a unique ability. More powerful and dangerous and all those kinds of different abilities were listed there. No wonder that book was so thick and big.

I was kinda absorbed on reading it until I felt my phone buzzed in my pocket.
