السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Channa masala
Chana masala is a dish which is served with chapati or pooris n India as breakfast speciality.It is a tangy and spicy gravy made of chana or chickpeas.
Ingredients
Chana or Chickpeas 1/4 kg
Cumin powder 3/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Cilantro handful
Onions 2 medium
Green chillies 3-4 or as per liking
Garlic 1/2 inch piece
Black salt 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1/4 tsp
Amchur powder 1/2 tsp
Chat masala 1/2 tsp
Tamarind pulp 1 1/2 tsp
Orange colouring
Method
Soak peas overnight and boil in cooker for 15 minutes.
Grind all the other ingredients in a grinder with 1 tbsp of cooked chickpeas into a smooth paste.
Add this mixture to cooked chickpeas and bring to boil.
Garnish with finely chopped cilantro.
Serve with onion rings and hot pooris.
