Percy P.O.V.

Charms was over without anything eventful happening and us demigods were heading to Care of Magical Creatures. I knew it! Something had to happen. I mean we have the LITERAL worst luck in the world. So of course, hell-hounds simply HAD to attack. We quickly killed them all, but anybody could've seen. As there was no running, screaming, or spells I knew our secret was safe. For now at least. We arrived and I realized the teacher, Professor Hagrid, was half giant. I realized then, and knew the other demigods had too that this was the half giant McGonagall had warned us about. She said 'He is perfectly normal and has never harmed anyone who wasn't an enemy of Hogwarts'. Still not totally reassuring. My mind flew to the only other peaceful giant I had know, Damasen, and that lead to me thinking of Bob. I started to tear up when these two who should've been my enemies had sacrificed themselves to save Annabeth and I. My gaze drifted up and I said,

"Bob says hello." Annabeth leaned farther into me and I knew she had heard. The professor started talking about bowtruckles or whatever and I just zoned out, thinking of the past seven or so years of my life. One adventure after another it was a never ending cycle. I'd heard somewhere that the Egyptians believed in cycles and that their sun god, Ra, was a cycle also. My ADHD acted up when I started to think of the Egyptian crocodile god I had fought with that Carter Kane kid. Suddenly, I was moving and we were all walking towards the castle. Uhh. My ADHD got so bad I totally ignored the whole lesson. Oops. Nico said,

"We have another free period what do you guys want to do?" All of our eyes met and in sync we yelled, "TRAIN!" Then, we were all racing towards the Gryffindoor dorms. Just as we were climbing the stairs a pale blonde girl rounded the corner. She saw all of us racing down the hall and yelled,

"Stop right there. I need to talk to you. And so does Sev. Also, Drake ,son of Hermes, is pretending to be bad while here. He goes by Draco."

"Why don't you come to our dorms. We can explain everything there." Piper said with charmspeak lacing her voice. Skittles replied in a hard voice,

"You silver tongue won't work on me, daughter of Aphrodite. And anyways, isn't the dorm a bit, you know....open?"

"You'll see." Hazel said from beside us. We all entered the Gryffindoor common room and she understood what we meant the second she saw the third door. Once we were all settled in the private lounge we told Skittles everything. By the time we were done our free period was almost over. She shook her head saying,

"I knew it was bad, but I never thought it would've gone that far." We all nodded in agreement.

"Well anyways," she continued "you're all here now."

"By the way Skittles, we have a training room in here. Want to join us tomorrow?"

"Definitely." she said, with a grin on her face. "And I'll bring Sev and Drake." she continued. We all said our good byes and went our separate ways. Personally, we were all heading to Herbology, but who knows where Skittles went off to. For me, Herbology was boring. Oh, except for the teacher's name. I mean, seriously who's named Sprout and teaches about plants. Our Herbology professor was apparently. I mean, I guess its important that all of Nico's plants withered up, Katie's was better then perfect, mine drowned, and all of the others' plants stayed the same. Oops. And we were off to Divination. The hike to the tower was long and arodous. After ascending a silver ladder we entered a smoky room. Ugghh, it stinks in here. Too, too sweet. The teacher, Professor Trelawney walked up to our group and said,

"You shall go west, and face the god who has turned,

You shall find what was stolen, and see it safely returned,

You shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend,

And you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end" She continued,

"You shall sail the iron ship with warriors of bone,

You shall find what you seek and make it your own,

But despair for your life entombed within stone,

And fail without friends, to fly home alone." Followed by,

"Five shall go west to the goddess in chains,

One shall be lost in the land without rain,

The bane of Olympus shows the trail,

Campers and Hunters combined prevail,

The Titan's curse must one withstand,

And one shall perish by a parent's hand.

You shall delve in the darkness of the endless maze,

The dead, the traitor, and the lost one raise.

You shall rise or fall by the ghost king's hand,

The Child of Athena's final stand.

Destroy with a hero's final breath,

And lose a love to worse than death. perish by a parent's hand."  Then,

"Child of Lightning, beware the earth,

The giants' revenge the seven shall birth,

The forge and dove shall break the cage,

And death unleash, through Hera's rage.

Go to Alaska.

Find Thanatos and free him.

Come back by sundown on June twenty-fourth or die.

To the north, beyond the gods, lies the legion's crown.

Falling from ice, the son of Neptune shall drown.

Wisdom's daughter walks alone,

The Mark of Athena burns through Rome.

Twins snuff out the angel's breath,

Who holds the key to endless death.

Giants' bane stands gold and pale,

Won through pain from a woven jail.

A Half-Blood of the eldest gods,

Shall reach sixteen against all odds,

And see the world in endless sleep.

The hero's soul, cursed blade shall reap,

A single choice shall end his days,

Olympus to preserve or raze." And finally, to end it off,

"Seven half-bloods shall answer the call.

To storm or fire, the world must fall.

An oath to keep with a final breath,

And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death." We all looked at each other, and I saw the shock mirrored on all of their faces. All of our prophecies. I mean these had defined our life for so long, and now they were bared to this foreign world. Our history, our past, our pain laid in front of people we didn't know if we could trust. We all ran out of the room into our private training room. And in understanding, we unleashed our anger in the only way we knew. We fought.

Harry P.O.V.

"Those sounded like prophecies." Ron hissed at me. All of the 'exchange students had already disappeared, after Trelawney's predictions.

"I mean," he continued, "do you think they were?"

"No. I think she is an old fool who was spouting nonsense." I said. He nodded his head and agreed and we continued on like nothing had happened. But still, what was that? And why did those 'prophecies' affect them so bad? One thing's for sure. These kids are a mystery, and one I'm going to solve.
