This is a phanfiction where Dan and Phil goes to Hogwarts. It follows the events of the seven books of Harry Potter but the timeline of Daniel Howell (the Golden Trio enters Hogwarts in 2002 the year that Dan is 11, instead of 1991). Here, Phil is the same age as Dan.

SYPNOSIS

Dan Howell thought he had a pretty good shot at being the best friend of Phil Lester upon meeting him at Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, but things spiral out of control as he gets sorted into Slytherin while Phil ends up in Hufflepuff. He tries to break out of the social expectations of a Slytherin and attempts to befriend Phil. How hard can it be? Seems like it is pretty hard when his only friend is Draco Malfoy and Voldemort seems to only be growing in power.

NOTE

I wrote this with no intention of irritating Dan and Phil by shipping them in a romantic relationship. I think we can all agree that there is definitely strong platonic love between them, and whether they love each other romantically or not is entirely their privacy that we have no right to pry into. I apologise for the existence of this book, but a part of my soul would die if I keep this in.

I mean, we love them for who they are and how happy they make us feel and not because we ship them or just because they seem to be together (they don't, not really), and people nowadays just seem to enjoy watching gay couples' videos even when there is no other content (I don't understand why). I wouldn't write any other fanfiction of them with anyone else though, because ask yourself, can you really see them with anyone other than each other? Can you picture them falling in love with other people one day and moving out and starting their own families? I can't, or maybe it just hurts me too much to think about that. So dating or not (which is none of our business), I just wish that they'll be happy with each other and be healthy and well for a long long time until we're all old.

Also, I will not talk about Dan's family other than brief glossing over of their existence and I hope that you, as readers, will respect Dan's wishes on that. I will delete any comment that mentions his family in more detail than I have mentioned.

There will be no smut, there're already a lot of them out there, feel free to read those. I can't violate their bodies by writing things like that for the world to see.

This fanfiction takes place in the Harry Potter-verse, and the last time I reread the entire series was four years ago. So feel free to correct me if I make any mistakes, but please do not be mean. Life is horrible enough on its own already.

I will be starting university on February 2017, studying Medicine. I may be on hiatus when I get bombarded by truckloads of work but I will try my best for regular updates.

Okay, now that we have established all these, I really appreciate you for reading this (yes, even if you leave now) and I hope that you will enjoy reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing this.
