**flashback**

Sehun was already forced to study very hard when he was still a kid. This is the reason why he doesn’t get to experience having playground friends. One day, he woke up because of the continuous knock on his door.  *what now?* he thought while walking towards the door. “Good morning, Mom.” He lazily said. “Good morning. Hurry and take a bath. Your breakfast is already downstairs.” His mother told him. “Ne.” he shortly answered.

While they’re eating, “I and your Mom are going to a business trip. Sorry, Son. But you can’t come.” His father said. Sehun was about to cry but decided to hold it in. “Your leaving me again.” He said with a sad face. “Yes Son. Because…you must study.” His mother said. He walked out of the room. He was very disappointed with his parents. It’s like his grades are more important to them than himself. He was about to sleep when he heard a knock on his door. It was his mother. “Goodnight. Just wait ‘til we come back.” He nodded and pretended that it was okay.

The next day, his parents had left. He was left at their house with his aunt. “what a good boy. You wanna play?” she said. “no thanks, Auntie. I’m not in the mood now.” Sehun said with a depressed look. “when will they come back, Auntie?” Sehun continued. His aunt patted his head. “Maybe tomorrow.” She said. She took the cup she was holding and gave it to the cute boy. “Wow, bubble tea! I love you, Auntie!” Sehun said and kissed her aunt on the cheeks. “I know, sweetie.”

“Ugh! I’m not a kid anymore. I’m a man… don’t call me that.” He pouted.

“You sure you are?”

“Of course.”

“Hmm, you never acted as a child, Sehun. You’re always serious in everything.”

“Yeah. And it sucks, Auntie. When will I ever have my freedom?” Sehun said. Their conversation was interrupted by a sudden phone call. He wandered what the caller is saying to his aunt. But he got worried when a shocked expression crept into his aunt’s face. “Where are they now?” she questioned. She decided to go outside for Sehun to not hear. After getting the details, she rushed inside to get her car keys.  “Auntie, what’s wrong? Why are you crying?” Sehun curiously asked. “I-I don’t know what really happened, Sweetie. But--- y-your Mom and Dad passed away.” She managed to say between her sobs. “I need to go there and take their bodies. I’ll be back soon.” She patted his head and left. Sehun stayed where he was. He can’t believe what his aunt just said. Tears started falling through his cheeks. Then he fell down on his knees.

On the night of the burial, Sehun can’t sleep so he decided to stay up and accompany his aunt. *if only I have powers, I will heal them.* Sehun thought. His aunt went beside him and handed him a notebook. “This is your Mom’s diary. You have to know everything.”

The first page of the diary was full of secrets about Sehun. “Sehun was a baby left in front of our house. So I decided to take him and promised to myself that he will have a good life that his real mother can’t give him.” Sehun’s tears began falling again. “Thank you Mom, for doing all of this to me. I won’t forget your kindness. But now it’s my turn to live my own life how I’ve wanted it to be.” Sehun promised on the wind while still reading his Mom’s diary full of his name written on it.

Minhee affectionately hugged Sehun. “t-thank you, Minhee.” Sehun stuttered. He found it hard to breathe as he felt Minhee’s warmth against his. His heartbeat instantly increased rapidly. He felt various feelings and emotions running in him.  He had read these kinds of symptoms in a book before.  *I think I’ve got caught a disease. A very bad one.* he nervously thought. Yes. Sehun caught a disease. And it’s called… Love. He suddenly felt giddy about the thought that his Minhee is his first love. He can’t help it and kissed her on the cheeks. Minhee instantly blushed. She smiled at Sehun to hide her uneasiness. “0-okay…let’s move on to Luhan.”
