"So, Liam, isn't it? We'll be going over exactly what Jamey was teaching you yesterday, however it will be in a fighting environment. Ok." Says Max as though Liam was a 2 year old. "What we want you to do is merge with each one of these weapons whilst our drones..." As though on cue four drones hover up from behind a table simultaneously taking in their surroundings and locking straight onto Liam. "Yep, right on cue, anyway these lovely Devils will fire to kill. Your objective is to get to them first. Let's begin."
"Wait, what!" Liam dodges a shot from one of the drones that has a swat rifle taped to the bottom, he could tell these were not military equipment. He lunges to the far right of a table grasping at a small hand gun, he chucks the gun up and thrusts his arm into it merging instantly. He then, with the remaining hand, merged with a cross bow to his left. He rolled behind an abandoned chunk of metal lodged in the ground and loaded the two weapons. However one of the drones came up from behind and shot two blasts from the gun, Liam side steps directly into the path of another drone and finds himself surrounded by the four drones. Within milliseconds his mind reacts, he releases the two current weapons and clutches a knife in each hand. He merges with the knives and in one deadly move spins on the spot as each knife runs through the drones one by one, slicing them in half. The drones drop to the ground and he stands triumphant with his now normal hands on his hips.
"No, no, no. You have not finished training until you complete this without getting even a scratch." Says Max shaking his head vigorously. In turn Liam looked down to see his jeans shredded from gun fire and a small wound on his upper left arm. He then flinches at the sight of blood and passes out. He can hear faint mumbles in the background saying... "Well, he did better than you on your first day Max. But we will have to work on the passing out part, that wouldn't be too good in the middle of battle..."
