Bounded to be your enemy (Jeon Jungkook x OC)

Prologue/Chapter 1- Begin

Prologue:

"I will protect you Mirae...no matter how dangerous the work of your parents is" Jungkook told me as he looked in my eyes

"I know you will" I flashed him a smile as we looked up to the night sky

"Mirae?"

"Yes?"

"Let's not forget each other..." he began and trailed off

"I would never do this...nothing will get me to forget you" I grabbed his hand and squeezed it tightly "You were with me my whole life"

"..." he didn't said anything, but I knew he was smiling at my answer.

~time skip~

Narrator's P.O.V:

"SAVE HER! PLEASE!" Jungkook yelled through the hospital with an unconscious Mirae in his arms.

His tears were streaming uncontrollably as he looked down at his childhood friend.

"Don't die..." he whispered as he lay his forehead against hers, small sobs escaping his lips.

Mirae was taken out of his arms and in the next moment she was out of his sight in the emergency room.

Jungkook broke down and leaned against the wall. He covered his face with his hands as he sat there crying. What would happen, if she died now. He punched the floor with one of his fists. He wasn't able to protect her. It was his fault that this happened.

All those thoughts ran through his mind.

"May I help you mister?" a nurse approached him, but he ignored her.

He stood up and wiped his tears away and ran out of the hospital. He ran down the streets. He just wanted to wake up from this nightmare. He ran to the park, where they used to play or sit on the swings talking.

Jungkook grabbed one of the swings and looked up to the once again clear night sky.

"This...can't be...happening..." his voice still trembling.

"Jungkook?" a middle aged lady called out to him.

His head raised at the voice of his own mother.

"What are you doing here? Where does this blood come from? Where is Mirae? I thought you two would met up at her house" his mom questioned, but he remained silent.

His mom sat down next to him and looked at her son, who seemed to lost his will to speak.

"Did something happen to Mirae?"

Again...no answer. His mom looked at her son sadly, but stood up.

"I was on my way to their house. They forgot some things at our place last time"

His mother wanted to go, but her son grabbed her wrist

"They...they are not...home..." his voice was filled with sadness once more

"What do you mean, I texted them a few hours ago" she looked strange at the devastated fellow.

"...they...are dead..." he finally brought the words out and his mom's eyes widden

"W-What do you mean?" her voice was filled with sudden fear.

"..." Jungkook let go her hand "...I've been there...believe me..."

His mom nodded and began running away in the direction of her friends house.

Jungkook still sat on the swing and the time was running for him slowly, he sat there for only a few minutes, but for him it felt like an eternity. From the distance the sounds of the police cars came in near his direction. The cars were rushing down the street.
