Author's Note: Welcome to Reborn! Honestly, I'm a little nervous about writing this story because it actually came out of a dream of mine and it sounded like a cool story to write down, but then again, my dreams are messed up and crazy! So I hope this story turns out ok ! I'm known to write anime fanfics and in my mind this story kinda reminds me of Cowboy Bebop so that's how I like to think of my characters, but even if you're not in anime, like that's totally cool, just use your imagination on how you view the characters!

Anyways thank you reader for taking your time out of the day to read this and I hope you enjoy the story!

~Scarlett's Pov~

"You're going to hire a new recruit?" I ask the Boss with crossed arms, leaning up against the stonewalls outside of the classroom, "Out of all these wimps? You could have hired a monkey and they would have done a better job than what these guys have been doing."

"Yeah, good luck finding someone," Ace chuckles, lazily resting his hands in his pockets, "Have you seen these kids? Their eyes bulge out when they see a gun in someone's hand."

"Look, we need more than just the three of you guys," the Boss says giving each of us a glare, "It'll be good to, at least, have one other backup just in case you guys need it or get into another sticky situation."

"Well, maybe Scarlett shouldn't have pissed the guards off," Ace blames me, giving me an accused glare, "Then maybe they wouldn't have shot at us."

"Oh shut the hell up Ace!" I snap, "I like to see your ass do a better job at being a decoy!"

"Please you two, stop the arguing. We'll look bad in front of the new recruits," Kira says calmly as she cleans her glasses. She puts her glasses back on, "Boss, do you really think someone in that classroom is willing to risk their lives, just to save the human race?"

"Well, more or less," The Boss replies, "Honestly, most of these guys don't really know the full extent of the job. Let's just say we had to leave some parts of the job out of the flyers when we posted them around town."

"Cool, so we'll be the first to share the shit out of them," I smile sweetly, "Sounds like my kind of game."

"Just don't scare too many of them off," The Boss points out, "All of you were new too at once. I think with a little bit of training, they'll be fine."

We hear Professor Jin's voice in the classroom, talk about some basic knowledge on what the job entails and then, our names were announced, "Class, I'll introduce you to one of the best teams we have in this corporation. If you guys could step on in and introduce yourselves, please."

The three of us waltz in with me in walking in front of the group first while Ace and Kira followed along. We now stand in front of the class of over a hundred contestants. Each of them from different nations of the country, different ages, and different skills.

"Class, these guys are what we call Squad B," Jin introduces as he pushes up his thin glasses, "The 'B' stands for brains, brawn, and beauty."

"I'm the brains of the squad," Kira describes herself.

"I'm the brawn," Ace smirks with crossed arms.

"And I'm the beauty!" I smile, running my fingers through my shoulder length, wavy black hair.

"If you get accepted, this is the squad you'll be working with," Jin finishes, "Please tell the class your story on how you got into this job and a little on what you do as part of the squad."

"Jee Professor, we come in here for just a few minutes and now we're getting personal?" I question, making myself confortable on top of his podium.

"You have to associate with these people for the next week," Jin says, "At least try and be social."

"Shit," I mutter, crossing my legs and giving the classroom a stare down, making sure each eye was on me. "Fine. I'm Scarlett Manson. And, this is my story on how I became an assassin."
