28th of October 2005 , Stanford University

When I first met Dean Winchester, I instantly knew something was off about him. He was hiding something, the mysterious type seemed to suit him quite well. But then again, they say don't judge a book by their cover. Dean may be the ruggedly dangerous and handsome type, but he could be the sweetest guy underneath that exterior.

My sister, Hazel, was dating the lumberjack dropout's younger brother Sam. Sam was an intelligent kid, I'll admit that, and there was occasion where I've treated him like a little brother. Excluding Dean, we all attended the same college- Stanford University. Sam was participating in a Criminology and Law Procedure course, Hazel was studying a bachelor of Psychology. Two of them had met during a study round down at the library. Hazel was having trouble understanding numerous psychological experiments, that her test the next day was based on. Coincidentally, Sam was reviewing criminal psychology and knew all about these experiments. As a first encounter, this lead to more 'study rounds', then Sam asked the question. And that's how my sister become Sam Winchester's bitch.

Dean rolled into town a few hours before he took Sam away. Sam, Hazel and I were walking along the front of the university, bitching and complaining about fellow colleagues and our courses. I always felt like the third wheel to the couple, however they didn't mind my company. In fact, Sam loved that he could talk to me about history, science and mythology, while Hazel groaned and rolled her eyes at the, quote; 'extreme nerdiness'. We were walking down the path, debating where to go to finish off another week, but plans then changed.

Hazel and I were lost in argument, her persuading me to find a guy and get out more. I had told her in turn that I would if I could find a guy who'd suit me. She rolled her eyes a called me picky as well as stubborn, those which I find ridiculous. We almost left the premises without Sam, too caught up in my 'social' life. Sam was staring in one direction, mouth agape, a confused look playing on his face.

"Dean?" He breaths. Hazel and I follow his gaze, only to see who he was talking about. A handsome man, roughly 6"2', apple green eyes, toned physique, leather jacket draped stood against a black classic car, his hands in pockets.

"Hey Sammy," he begins to walk to us, a smile on his face. "long time no see." It was an awkward embrace at first, but the two hugged, smiling and relived to see each other.

"Dean, what are you doing here?" Sam asks.

"I can't visit my little brother?" Dean asks.

"You haven't seen me in a year." Sam retorts, Hazel and I coming closer slowly. Dean glanced at us and back to Sam, a smirk playing among his face.

"Are you going to introduce me to your girls?" Sam looks at us, smiling.

"Hey," I but in. "forget that- is that a 67 Chevy Impala?" I point to the car, walking closer in anticipation. I could tell Dean was smirking, because his response was tracing it.

"Girl knows her cars." I hear Dean say, his footsteps coming closer. My hands trail over the hood, the sleek model smooth under my hands. I can feel his presence next to me, warmth radiating of his being. "Wanna take a closer look?" I nod, excited. He pops the bonnet open and my eyes widen, my smile agape in awe.

"No way." I say. "327 engine with a four barrel carburettor?! They don't make models like these anymore."

Hazel raised her eyebrows. "Since when did you know about cars?"

"Since mum owned a '67 Mustang and '84 Harley Davidson Sportster."'I glanced at her before getting a better look at the Impala. I peered out and walked around the car, my bag discarded in front of the models exterior. Then I saw the number plate.
