"Annnnnnd done!" she said as she finished a little drawing of a cat on the back of her hand. She smiled to herself, thinking that it was one of her best drawings yet. Only if she drew it on some paper.
A knock came from behind her door. She panicked, throwing the pen aside and hiding her hand behind her back. "Er, come in!" she said.
Her mother came in, a stern look on her face. "Darling, we must go to your registration now. We mustn't be late." (Y/n) got up from her seat, still hiding her hand behind her back. She walked towards her mother before she was stopped. Her mom grabbed her hand and shook her head.
"Really? You do know where drawing on your skin will lead to, right?" she asked angrily.
"Mom! Just! No! I'm not gonna get into any trouble because I draw on my skin!" the daughter retaliated.
"You don't see any tattoos on my body on your father's body! And look at us, we're successful people! Now go wash that off this instant!"
(Y/n) rolled her eyes and stomped off to the bathroom. She turned on the sink and let the water run over her drawing. It smudged a a bit. Kinda like the cat was crying. She groaned and used her nails to scratch off the drawing. Most of the ink was under her nails now, some left over on her hand.
She left the bathroom with her still wet hands and showed them to her mother, "Happy?" she asked.
"Much, and it'd be even better if you could drop the attitude. Drawing on your skin isn't going to do you any good when you're an adult." Her mother said. "Now let's go! We have a registration to go to!"
The left their home, which was pretty large. A perk of having a mother who is a professional photographer and a father running a well-known fashion magazine. Though, (Y/n) hardly had fun experiences with her family in the home unless (Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Other) came around. For she was always out of town, the reason being boarding school.
It was alright but she never really got to talk with her parents when she was away. Though, (Y/n) asked her parents if she could finally start school in Paris. After some persuasion, they finally agreed. That led to (Y/n) burning her boarding school uniform- to which, of course, her parents disapproved of.

Somewhere, a few minutes earlier~

Adrien stared down at his hand, watching the whiskers become added to the cat's head. He didn't entirely know why it was happening. Maybe a prank that Plagg was playing? Though, he couldn't recall Plagg ever turning himself and a pen invisible.
The insides of the ears were added. Adrien rolled his eyes and went into his backpack, he found Plagg in there just eating Camembert. Plagg gave him a questioning look and continued nibbling on his cheese. He placed the backpack down and continued watching the cat being drawn.
He thought it was odd. This has certainly never happened was drawn. Once it was finished, we went back to doing his work. When he looked at his hand again, the cat was smudged.
It looked as if it were distorted by water along with scratch marks. It was odd, his hand wasn't wet nor in pain.
"Aw, the kitty you drew, did you get angry at it or something?" NIno asked as he leaned over his friend's shoulder. Adrien shook his head.
"As if, and, I.. didn't exactly draw it."
Nino snickered, "That would explain why the projected you turned in looked like crap compared to the cat on your hand."
Adrien smacked him lightly. Though, it was true, Adrien wasn't the artistic type.
The bell rang and so the two packed up and went to their next class. They past by a girl who walked with an older woman. Most likely going to registered into the school. Adrien wondered if she would get placed into his class.
He continued to his classroom to his friend. His mind wandered back to the drawing. He glanced at his hand, left over ink was still left over on his hand.

"You could have washed that off better, (Y/n)." said her mother.
(Y/n) rolled her eyes, "Well we were in a hurry, mom."
"Drop the attitude, (Y/n). Drawing on your skin is just going to ruin it."
The young girl rolled her eyes as she and her mother walked into the registration office.
After getting the schedule, they left the school. The girl stood in place, looking at the schedule as her mother walked off to the car.
Her mother was already so rude, (Y/n) thought that since she was back she would be less strict. (Y/n) just wanted to draw. She like the feeling of drawing on her skin.
"(Y/n)! Come along!" Her mother yelled from the car.
The girl's head snapped up, "Um, I'm just gonna go to the library!"
"We need to go! I won't be able to pick you up, I have a shoot to go to!"
"I'll walk back!" the girl ran off, leaving her mother.
The mother rolled her eyes and sighed, "Rebellious phase already? Not the best boarding school I suppose.... I just want what's best for my daughter."
The woman got into her car and drove off to the photo shoot.

The girl flipped through the pages, much calmer than she was before. She began to feel guilty about being rude to her mother, though her mother was being a jerk. She sat there, thinking about if her parents truly loved her. She lived most of her life in a boarding school away from them. And for what? Becoming a proper lady?
Glancing at her watch, she noticed it was about to be closing time for the library. She sighed and got up, placed the book on the shelf then left.
She walked past an alleyway, hearing something. She stopped walking and turned her head towards the sound. Before her was an old man held at gunpoint, groceries at his feet. She pulled at her hair, not knowing what to do. She took her phone from her back pocket and dialed 911, just to be safe.
Taking a deep breath, she stepped into the alleyway with her finger right above the call button. She smiled at the old man and the man with the gun. "Ah! Thank you for finding my grandpa! Come on, grandpa, mom's worried."
The man spotted the phone in the girl's hand, seeing the obvious 911 on the screen, and concealed his gun. "Er, no problem little girl."
(Y/n) walked further into the alleyway and helped the old man pick up his groceries. They left the alleyway and after a block or two of walking, she asked, "Are you, alright, sir?"
"No, I'm fine really. Thank you for saving me." the man smiled.
(Y/n) gave a small smile, "You're welcome, heh, I'm like a hero now." she said quietly.
The man chuckled, "Like Chat Noir and Ladybug?"
The girl shook her head and laughed. She only heard about the two heroes from her parents. They saved countless lives all the time. She was just in the right place at the right time to save this man.

She ended up taking the bags of food all the way to his home. She had to run home. She opened the door to her home. There in the foyer, her parents stood with bored faces.
"(Y/n), where were you?" her father asked sternly.
"I was helping someone." she said.
Her mother grabbed her arm, inspected it. She grabbed the other as well then check her back for bruises. She gave a sigh of relief and hugged her.
The daughter gasped. She could remember the last time her mother hugged her. She slowly put her arms around her mother.
Her father cracked a smile.
The mother released her daughter, "Don't worry us. Now go to your room, you have school tomorrow."
(Y/n) gave a crooked smile ran up to her room and changed into her pajamas. Her eyes wander her barely familiar room and spotted the pen she drew on herself earlier.
She grabbed it from her desk and wrote on herself one single word.
"Hero"

The boy looked down at his wrist, the word "hero" written on it. He smiled, not really knowing what to do. He just came back home from a patrol.
Today, he witnessed a girl save an old man. He was going to jump in to help her and the man but something was off. She gave off an aura of calmness. She got the man to put his gun away without doing anything threatening.
Adrien grabbed a pen and drew a cloud around the word. He placed the pen down and smiled at the addition. He was a hero but the one of tonight. The girl who saved that man was a hero. Wherever she was, he hoped that she would continue to be one.
"Goodnight, Adrien." yawned Plagg as he floated off to find a sleeping spot.
"Night, Plagg."
Adrien showered and then changed for bed. He wondered if drawings and words would start appearing on his body from now on. He wouldn't mind it, as long as it's off for photoshoots.
"Hero..." He mumbled before drifting off to sleep.
