Uninvited

You walked blindly through the dark streets your eyes blood shot and swollen from all the tears you had shed. You sniffed and leaned against the wall, your roommate had just died in a car accident and unfortunately you had found this news out while you work. Your manager had given you the rest of the week off to relax knowing you two had been rather close .So here you were making the painfully long trip home. You just couldnt bring yourself to see the crash sight where you had lost you best friend, so unfortunately that meant you had to take a longer way home, an unsafe way home. You had started off once more, wiping away some of the hot tears from you (e/c) eyes when you accidentally bumped into someone. You looked up to see a dirty looking man his bright hazel eyes held a preditorial glint to them, and it scared you.

"Hey there pretty thing~ why ya crying? You know this part of town isnt safe for a sweet thing like you to wonder around at night"

He roughtly grabbed you shoulder and you squeaked and tried to push him away, his dirty long nails dug into your soft (s/c) flesh, causing you to gasp in fear.

"Knock it off let me go!"

You screamed angrily, the man roughly covered your mouth with his hand as he began to drag you into a dark allyway.

"If you don't shut up you wont leave this ally alive little lady, but if your good I'll let you go~"

You were forceful thrown against the wet ground causing you the scrap your palms against some broken glass. The smell of blood filled you noise as the man began to stalk over to your fallen form.

"pl-please no!"

You shivered uncontrollably as he grew closer, you pitifully held you hands up shielding your tear soaked face. The man laughed darkly but suddenly stopped when a sickening crack sounded from behind the man, his eyes widened and dulled. He's body fell with a thud as you backed away afraid, suddenly a new figure stood in the mans place. You could only see his outline he was tall compared to the now dead man, you couldnt make out any features about him except for his bright blank eyes, they were as blue as a clear sky and cold as ice. You pushed yourself away from the male afraid.

"I'm not here to hurt you."

He snapped, moving towards you with purpose, he roughly pulling you up causing you to yelp in suprise at his strength, you clutched to him as he looked down on you, you gave him a sheepish smile, mostly a fearful one, as this man had just killed someone, but it was to save you so you weren't to afraid. He moved away from your smaller frame and grabbed your wrist dragging you out of the alleyway.

"T-thank you for s-saving me."

He gave a nod and released your arm. You stood next to him awkwardly as you emspected your hand.

"Here."

The man handed you a small rag as he began to walk away into the night leaving you there as you just stared at the man who saved your life, before you knew it he was gone, you smacked yourself as you groaned embarrassed.

"I never asked his name..."

It had been two weeks since the encounter with your savior. You smiled at the though of the man who risked his life for a complete stranger. You turned off your computer and rubbed your eyes, you had to find a new place to move considering your roommate untimely end, thinking about them caused you to tear up and shut your laptop an making your way over to you bed to collapsed in sorrow. You sighed and closed your eyes wanting nothing more then to slowly drifted off to sleep, but your peaceful moment was lost when you heard your window open suddenly, you froze and tried your best to act asleep trying your best to listen to the sound of heavy boots hitting your hardwood floor.
