Harry’s POV

I discarded of my cigarette and glanced at the clock, it was 11 in the morning and it was almost time for me to go to work. I work at a restaurant as a waiter alongside Niall, who actually recently helped me get the job. I would say it’s a sucky job but the tips do make up for the shit I’ve had to put up with. I work in the good side of town so everyone’s rich, and everyone gives big cash.

“Why is there shit on television?” Niall asked.

“When is there not is the question you should be asking.” Zayn replied as Niall kept changing the channel.

“It’s not like it matters Niall, we’re about to go to work anyways.” I responded, causing a groan from Niall.

“Work is fucking stupid.” Niall mumbled.

“Aw, is little Niall upset over something?” Louis cooed in a baby voice while pinching his cheek, causing a laugh from everyone when Niall smacked his snapback off his head.

“He’s probably just mad because that other girl that had come in the other day didn’t pay any attention to him.” Liam said as he let out a laugh.

“Will you shut up Liam no one even asked you or any of you lot!” Niall exclaimed. His eyebrows were furrowed; he was obviously upset over the most idiotic thing ever.

“I told you not to even try to go for that girl mate. She was a fucking brat, she wouldn’t look twice at the likes of us.” I said, placing my hand on his back in an effort to calm him down a bit. It seemed to work since he sighed and nodded.

“Who needs those prissy bitches anyways?” He asked.

“That’a boy!” Louis exclaimed, smiling, as if he were a proud father.

“They’re so rude to the staff.” Niall said.

“I bet they walk in with their expensive, fancy dresses and big hair and their faces plastered with makeup and act as if they own the world.” Zayn said.

“Do you work at our job Zayn? Cos that’s exactly what they do.” Niall replied, earning a smirk from Zayn.

“And they look at you like you’re shit. You’re just nothing.” Niall explained.

“And when the bill comes around they look at their hot-shot dads to pay the bill.” I said, imitating how they look at them with big eyes and fluttering eyelashes.

“Oh and sometimes they say stupid stuff when it’s time to give tip.” Niall said.

“Oh my God, yes! They’re like ‘Why would you give such a big tip? They obviously didn’t do a good job.’” I said, rolling my eyes.

“Knowing that you guys fucking serve their food!” Liam exclaimed.

“I hate rich people who think they’re above everyone.” Zayn confessed. I nodded in agreement.

“They’re so cocky. They need something to pull them off their high horse.” Louis explained.

I shrugged. “It’s not like they would even care all they care about is social status.” Liam said.

“Maybe one day it’ll change.” I said. “Anyways, we should be getting to work Niall, can’t be late considering I’m new.” I said, changing the subject.

“You’ve been working there for how many weeks now?” Louis asked.

“I don’t know, a couple.” I responded.

“Well then, you’re not new now are you?” Louis said in a sarcastic tone of voice, causing me to roll my eyes and laugh a little.

“We should be heading over to my house then, right lads?” Zayn asked. Liam nodded.

“We’ll see you guys tomorrow though at the party.” Niall said. We all nodded. “I’ll pick you up in a bit; I just have to go change.” Niall explained only to me. He’s my carpool to work since we only have one car but mum and Robin were working on getting one for me since it sucks not being able to drive all the time even though you have your license. Even Robin has to carpool with his co-worker and he said he would at least like me to have a car.

I dressed quickly and waited for Niall, it was almost 13:00 and our shift was about to start so I just sat in the living room, waiting for Niall.

A few moments later I heard the car horn go off and opened the front door and got into Niall’s car and we drove off.

“You know what I hate about work, why is it that it’s called the best restaurant but we get treated like shit?” Niall asked.

“I wish I knew the answer to that.” I responded.

“Then it shouldn’t be the best restaurant nearby. It’s disgraceful.” Niall huffed. I laughed and nodded.

We got their shortly and I sighed. “Ready to go to hell?” Niall asked.

“Might as well, what else do I have to live for?” I asked.
