i knew you for a time,
we didnt really talk,
i knew your name and you knew mine,
until fate wanted us to talk.

you were inclined with a friend,
but we were already 'sort of friends.
And time and time again,
fate had other plans.

2 years passed we became more close,
you were a friend i would always boast.
We changed through that time,
I wonder, why?

We knew each other for a time,
but this was only a beginning,
of the longing for you to me mine,
or if i be good enough.
