Last time.. (the end of part 1)
"OH MY SONKKU!~ I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!~" screamed a very loud and annoying amy (no offense to amy's on wattpad!) she pushed shadow to the side and hugged me really tight " yea I- missed you to ames " I didn't hug back nor did I even touch her. Suddenly the door opened revealing my friends and a few of my enemies wich really shocked me " scourge?! m-m-mephlise?!" " hey true blue!~ how you feeling?~" said a soft smiled scourge.
NOW....
Sonic's P.O.V.
I had to admit I was completely shocked my enemies came to visit me. " I-I feel f-fine" I managed to stutter out. I got a small smile from scourge and mephlise it was so nice of them. " So sonic what the hell happened? for you to shut us out!?" said a very curious mephlise " I-I- um well " my stuttering caused Mephlise to smirk , and it was clear he was amused by my behavior not that I said anything about it. "You what? " I winced and looked away and then I quietly gasped as I felt Mephlise's cold hand on my shoulder 'why is his hand on my shoulder?! but then again I kinda like it' I then began to blush madly I felt my face get extremely hot " you ok sonic?" I nodded reassuring him that I was fine. Shadow gave a mean glare he must have noticed that Mephlise had made me blush. " What's wrong shadow? you a little jealous~ " Mephlise teased. "For your information I am NOT jealous Mr. need to be an buttface!" shadow snapped along with a low growl. Mephlise just smirked and sat closer to me 'why?' I have no clue he earned a jealous glare from both shadow and scourge. I only saw Mephlise flash them a small grin ' what's going on here ' that's what I want to know but I don't have the balls to say that aloud. I was looking at them three as they passed on glares and stares , after moments of silence finally someone spoke. "Sonic when do you get out of the hospital?" I simply shrugged I had no clue when I was getting out of the hospital " uhh I don't know exactly ames they said my condition was pretty bad" amy was completely puzzled " but sonic you don't look that bad " I simply silenced myself as I removed the blanket they all gasped I could only move one of my legs and soon my left leg was to be amputated (removed) " a-are your injuries that f-fatal?!" asked a shocked and furious shadow." yup looks like I wont be running anymore..."
Shadow's P.O.V.
NO MORE RUNING?!?! "Sonic there going to cut off your leg!?!?!?!? b-but what about the races a-and how are you going to r-run away from danger?! o-or save people?!" my heart sank he wasn't going to be the same I remember that one day he told me what was second important in his life..
FLASH BACK!
( Sonics P.O.V.)
I sit here relaxed , in peace, and the silence of the night . "Faker is that you?" my eyes snap open in alert " mm? yea it's me shadz " I stay silent for a period of time I only stared at the stars tears rolling down my cheeks " faker are you cr-" " I'm not crying!" I snapped quickly wiping away my tears but to my surprise he sat by me and rubbed my arm for comfort " faker it's ok what's wrong sonic?" shadow said as he pulled me closer to him close enough for me to lay my head on his shoulder wich I did " Shadow I've lost my freedom not to mention my hope." "what do you mean?" shadow asked curiousity in his eyes " I've lost time ,time to run, time for the things that I love most I've lost" " running is your freedom?" " without running i'm lost .."
END OF FLASH BACK
" B-but sonic running is the second most important thing in your life!" I swear everyone was staring at me and sonic like we had double heads but we shrugged it off . " I know theres a way he felt sad without running for a weak imagine forever! god that would be so depressing. Sonic's beautiful emerald eyes had lost there sparkle and his smile hadn't been seen for months. 'what happened to the old sonic?'
