"I can't get him out of my head..."

I went home that afternoon, my head full of wondrous feelings for Richard. He wouldn't go away, he was preposterously stuck in my head.

'It's just a silly crush' I said to myself. 'Get over it'

But I simply couldn't.

I huffed and puffed at myself, I knew I was just being peculiar. When he asked for my number beforehand, he wasn't trying to make a smooth move surely, he was my work colleague, he will need to stay in touch from time to time. The ambiguity of the situation left me puzzled, and left me wondering aimlessly on what possibilities there could be for him asking of my phone number so soon. Though I was to find out later nevertheless, he said he would text me.

An hour after leaving the studio I was finally home, it was starting to get dark by the time I got there, and it was getting bitterly cold. I quickly shuffled through the front door to my house, pulling my scarf and coat off and hanging it up. I plumped onto the sofa and switched on the TV, letting out a big sigh of comfort as I buried myself into the seat. My eyes fluttered closed, and I dozed off for a few minutes until I heard my phone beep. I rubbed my eyes and grabbed my phone, my screen lit up with an unknown number, a text saying:

"Hiya, It's Richard, how are you?"

My eyes altered their focus and I re-read the text over and over again until reality sunk in. I feverishly tapped on the keyboard and replied to him, this ended up happening all night.

M: "Hi! I'm fab thank you just woke up from a nap!"

R: "Oh God did I wake you? Terribly sorry!"

M: "No need to apologise! I needed to wake up anyways"

R: "So how was you're first day? Enjoyed it?"

M: "Very much, really enjoyed myself, I'm so thrilled to be working with you guys!"

R: "Well I'm just as thrilled to be working with such a wonderful woman!"

M: "Aww, I do appreciate that :)"

R: "It's a pleasure! I really think you're lovely, and this job is so right for you, the audience will love you :)"

M: "So glad to hear that, I really look forward to whats to come"

R: "Me too, tomorrow should be fun, doing some filming!"

M: "Can't wait for itttt!"

R: "Me neither, can't wait to see you again :)"

M: "Can't wait to see you too! :)"

R: "Have a lovely night then, see you tomorrow morning Marcy ;)"

M: "You too, see you tomorrow Richard ;)"

I couldn't control my inner feelings, I was squealing like a little fan-girl. I was ever so close to slapping myself because of my stupidity.

Eventually the morning came abruptly, and I found myself on the sofa, still clutching my phone. I pressed the home button, and realised I was on low battery. Damn. However I was running slightly late, so I ran upstairs, changed into my white t-shirt, grey skinny jeans and my leather jacket, I decided to take my phone with me, thinking maybe one of the boys will have a charger on them. I leaped into the car and set off in a hurry. I managed to reach the studio in plenty of time, so I plastered a smile on my face and walked in backstage.

I found Jeremy, so I squeezed myself into the conversation he was having with other members of the crew so I didn't look awkward waiting around. I then felt a light tap on my shoulder, I turned around and saw Richard, his wonderful smile sending my stomach on a rollercoster ride.

"Hi Marcy" He said, his smile widening.

"Hiya Richard, you alright?"

"Never been better how about you?"

"I'm really good thank you!"

We then amended ourselves in casual conversation for about half an hour before we were told we were due for filming now. We were bought outside, and we all needed to review a car each individuality. We were presented with four cars, and we each managed to pick one after a few minutes arguing between James and Jeremy. I had endless amounts of fun that day, I had picked the Aston Martin DB9 to review, and it was fantastic, I was drifting around the track like a monkey riding a piano. And when our review finished, the rest of us would sit in a group while the other one did their own review. Seeing Richard drive was by far the best part, I hadn't seen him drive until now. The way he handled the corners, the way he drifted, flicking the back of the car out. I was astonished.

We had soon finished for the day, and all four of us gathered for a bit of a laugh before we departed, like we were teenagers hanging outside the bike shed at the back of school. Jeremy and James then said their goodbyes which left me and Richard alone walking to our cars. The atmosphere was tense for me, I didn't know what to say, and I was scared whatever I did say, I would accidentally present my feelings towards him. However Richard started up a conversation.

"You're driving today was perfect, enjoyed every last minute of it" He smiled.

I started to blush.

"Thank you so much, though I thought you're driving was absolutely out of this world, I had no idea you were that good!" I returned a compliment.

"Why thank you Marcy" He grinned, starting to blush a bit too. "Marcy" He repeated. "I like that name, where does it come from?"

"I'm not too sure, but I think my full name Marcilia is Spanish, I really don't know" I replied giggling nervously.

"Marcilia, what a gorgeous name!" He said.

"Aww Richard" I giggled again.

"No really I've never heard a name like that before, beautiful name, suits a beautiful woman" He smiled charmingly.

I could have died right there.

"Richard, that's so nice of you!" I giggled helplessly, and I felt my cheeks grow warm.

"I do aim to please I suppose" He joked.

We reached my car eventually, I opened the door ready to step in and I turned to Richard.

"I think we should arrange a meet up one day, don't you think?" He said.

"Of course!" I replied.

"Well then, see you later Marcy" He said, pulling me towards him for a hug. My stomach flipped a thousand times. His body felt so good against mine, the warmth that radiated off him made me forget it was minus 2 degrees outside. I could hold him forever.

"See you later Richard" I smiled as I shuffled into my seat.

I couldn't believe it. Everything he said, that hug... I will never be able to shake him off my mind now. No chance.
