3months Later
Casey's POV:
Today is my birthday its November 20th exactly three months that's mamas been gone and im 15 today , this is my first birthday without her and it is totally different. But on the bright side Jason and Dad an I have all been getting along for about a month and a half dad stopped drinkin an him and Jay talk more which is good. This morning they both Came running in my room with Luke and Taylor behind them an Luke Jason and dad jumped on the bed while Taylor was laughing and taking pictures . I said "What in the Heck guys get off of me NOW or I aint responsible for yall getting hurt . " Dad jumped off real fast then Luke rolled off and sat up beside me than Jason Sat beside luke then dad and taylor took a seat on my bed . I was thinking thank the Lord for my king size bed or we would all be in trouble . They all sang happy birthday and Dad said " Kids im going done stairs to make the birthday a special breakfast that will be big enough for all of us haha " then he walked out . After he walked out Taylor said alright birthday girl we all have gifts that need to be opened now ! I said okay let me go to the bathroom then I will open then ok they all laughed and said okay . I got up walked in the bathroom shut the door brushed my teeth brushed my hair and put it in a pony tail an walked out, I walked out and Luke said well someone can make her self look pretty darn good in three minutes and I said " yea I know I had to do something since some boys jumped on me this morning ! and I kissed his forehead and sat back on the bed. I opened the gifted from Taylor first it was a Camo phone case and camo sunglasses , then I opened Jasons gift that was a Camo shirt that read " Country girls Do it better" and then Jason Eyed Luke and said "YOU BETTER NOT find out if its true anytime soon you got it or I will hurt you best friend or not got it " Luke looked at me than at him and he said trust me I wont unless its the right time . I then commented That would be after I graduated high school and I was ready , Luke said that's fine this ole boy will wait as long as he has too, and here open my present ! I said okay and took the huge bag from him I opened it to find a letter that read "Dear Cas,
I have Loved you since I was 14 and you where 10 but I never could do or say a word because I knew Jason would have me hurt . But than that night that you where staying with Taylor and Jason was staying with me things just clicked between us . From the first kiss in my truck to the kiss in the barn that way no body would know that I loved you and you loved me . We were meant to be and don't think this letter is cheesy even though it is babe. But I want you to know before you open those boxes that I want to be with you forever and that you mean the world to me and its your birthday so I will be along for the ride of whatever it is that you want the crew to do . and one last thing one day you are going to be my wife and we are going to have our own little family .
