Den's POV
Wala akong alam kung bakit nandito na ako. Basta ang alam ko lang ay matapos kong umuwi sa bahay, napagdesisyonan kong umalis ng Pilipinas. Kung akala niyo ay susundan ko si Luis, pwes hindi. I decided to go to Europe, ng hindi alam ng mga kaibigan ko. Family ko lang ang nakakaalam, I told them na wag sasabihin sa kahit kanino. Sa bahay nila Ate Fille I sent a mail, saying thank you and goodbye.
"EU Flight 094 to Italy. Now boarding." I sighed. This is it. Leaving the country means leaving it all behind. I know its been 5 years late but hey, better late than never right?
I walk to the gate and glanced one more time before I get inside. I sat beside my window. I put on my headphone and slept.
I took the one way flight kaya medyo sakit sa pwet. I was pushing my cart out of the airport. Hindi ko alam pero feeling ko, Im still here. I was hurrying to a taxi when I bumped into a lady.
"Awwww." she said still holding her head.
"Im sorry Im-- ohmy!" I looked at the person I bumped into and shit. Si Ate Rach!
"Ate Rach?"
"Den?"
We both said. "Ohmyghaaaaaad! Hiiii." she screamed and hugged me.
"Ohmygod! Den! How are youuuu?!" she screamed again.
"Im doin fine!" I hugged her back.
"Eh kayo ni Ly? Nasan siya? Kasama mo ba siya?" she asked habang lumilinga linga sa paligid, siguro hinahanap siya.
"Lets talk about sa coffee shop, ate? Saan ba meron?" I said and smiled to her sadly. She got my point. Kaya she just nodded and hinigit ako papasok ng taxi. It was so quiet. Bumaba kami sa isang coffee shop.
Coincidence bruh. The shop was named AD. Kaloka. Nanandya ata si Ate Rach.
Naupo kami sa isang table at tumawag siya ng waiter mukhang palagi nandito si Ate e.
"Ate, nananadya ka ba?" I asked.
"No, hahaha sorry naman. Masarap lang talaga dito at maganda ang ambiance." she said while smiling but agad na nagchange yung mood niya.
"Ano ng nangyari Den?" she asked. Alam ko kung ano tinutukoy niya. Ilang taon din siyang di umuuwi ng Pinas kaya wala talaga siyang alam.
"Hindi ko rin alam ate, its been 5 years but still I love him. Isang araw na lang we were so tired of our situation and some conflicts kaya bumitaw kami." I sighed. I felt her hand on top of mine, saying she's just here no matter what.
"There are somethings na pinaghihiwalay ni God so that they may learn to grow at pag nangyari yon, parehas na kayong handa na harapin ang lahat." she said giving me hope.
"Im afraid, that its too late for that. He's married ate." I said then a tear escaped my eyes. I never thought that I'll cry again. Yes, I always cry everytime I see him but this is a different situation. I just uttered some words and boom. Nagbbreak down na ako.
"Shhh. Den, let it be. Maybe may iba pang plano si God." she said comforting me.
I gave her a smile para ma-assure siya na magiging okay rin ako. We went on talking after that then, she showed me to her condo. Tapos I went to check in na sa hotel. Im so tireddddd.
Sorry! Medyo walang kwenta yung update today but yung next ay may revelation na magaganap. Hahahahaha. Spoiler alert. Haha.
