Chapter 18
Rachel's pov:
I was in Finns room watching him as he slept . The surgery went great and Finn got his new heart I was so happy for him . After everything that has happened I know I love him and now that's he's better we can finally be together . I sat in the chair watching over him when Finns mom walked in.
"How is he?" She asked .
"He's doing good Mrs. Hudson , your son is a fighter." I said .
"Well that's great." She said.
" I should probably go home and get some rest Dr.Yang is here if you need her." I said.
I was about to leave when she stopped me,
"Dr.Berry?" She said.
I turned around ,
"Yes?" I said.
"Thank you ." She said.
"For what?" I asked him.
"For being there for Finn. He does nothing but talk to you I haven't seen him this happy since before Sarah passed away. You're really good for him." She said.
I smile and said,
"Trust me Mrs.Hudson, he's good for me too." I said and left the room.
(The next day)
I walked in to see Finn sitting there awake and smiling .
"Hey Mr. Know it All ." I said smiling at him.
"Hey Goody Two Shoes ." He said .
I chuckled and gave him a kiss .
"How ya feeling ?" I asked him .
"Like I just had an organ replaced." He joked .
"Well you'll feel like that for a couple of days but on the bright side you look a lot healthier." I said .
"So what happens next?" He asked me.
"Well next is we get you home and then we'll do annual check ups." I said.
"I mean us , you and I as a couple." Finn said .
I sat down and said,
"Well there's something you should know." I said.
"What?" He asked me .
"I got suspended from work they know about us , Yang told them." I said.
"Oh jeez , Rach I'm so sorry I know that was the last thing you wanted ." He said,
"It's okay , it's worth it if I get to be with you." I said.
"Are you sure you're not mad?" He asked me.
I smiled and said ,
"I love you Finn, and I always will." I said .
He smiled and said ,
"I love you too." He said and we kissed .
