Your Not Yourself Kei

Kei was walking peacefully through the forest as you followed him from behind but soon an old lady who was riding her bike bumped into him, but he didnt know what to do "Oh Im sorry!...let me help you!" you kneeled down to her helping her stand up while she squeeled in pain that her back hurt

"Your so nice for helping me young lady...Nowadays kids are usually busy with whatever this generation offered to them...its not like in my days" the old lady winced but when she was able to stand she smiled at you, you then looked at Kei who looks like he could careless but he chose to help anyway "Here Ill carry your stuff"

Kei looked more colder than before which was odd, you both decided to help her get home since she needed assistants, the next thing you knew both of you lived with the lady for a couple of days, she was making food while Kei sat there in silence, you began to ponder how he changed his personality so quickly

He stood up leaving until you called out to him in concern "What..." he said turning to face you, you then shook your head in denial "nevermind..." you waved him away so that he could finally leave, you sat there getting more concerned by the second until it started to interrupt your thoughts

(Days Later)

you were getting sick of Keis attitude, he might give you fake smiles but they're just so easy to see through that it pissed you off "Kei...whats up with you?" you asked him turning the t.v volume lower, he looked at you as if you were just seeing things, so then he sighed "its nothing" he said taking his lunch outside again

"Thats it Im done...!"

you started to stalk him while your thoughts were telling you how much his new self is annoying, you realized what he was doing in the forest the entire time, you saw a strange boy sitting there eating like hes never got the chance to but...

"Those are poisonous mushrooms...but they taste good, it will usually affect the victim after 20 min the side effects are stomach ache, vommiting and hallucinations, Ajins cant die but they can disable easily"

Kei had an emotionless face, it was as if it wasnt even him, the other boy began to move backwards to soon stand up, he then hit his head on a rock to try and kill himself, you quickly followed the boy as he ran off a cliff to die "why would Kei do that?"

you watched Kei approch the cliff looking down at the boy who regenerated "what is he trying to do?" you watched Kei jump down until you heared a loud scream of pain, you peeked to see what was going on down there but as a result the boy was getting drowned by Kei, you paused in shock that Kei would even do that to another Ajin

you backed away to hide when Kei was carrying Kou somewhere else in the forest, you watched his every move even when he dumped the body into the abandoned truck "Kei why would you..." you muttered but you didnt know it was loud enough for him to notice

"Why are you here? Im busy" Kei said closing the door of the truck, you could hear the boy yell from within the truck "Kei who did you throw down there!" you scolded walking towards him, this attitude, this grim emotionless face, its not Kei...you realized what hes become so your expression saddened a bit

"Hey get me out of here!" the boy screamed when Kei lifted up the door to hang open, you walked towards the truck to look down at a boy who had blood stains everywhere "Ill stay with him for tonight" you announced but Kei looked at you astonished, he scoffed with disbelief "What...?!"

He said raising a brow but you could careless since it wasnt the Kei you knew of "I will stay here until the real Kei talks to me face to face" you jumped into the truck landing on your feet besides the boy you didnt know "Kou Nakano" he said instantly reaching to shake your hand "(f/n) (l/n) " you replied smiling

"(y/n) what do you mean? I am Kei" you then looked up at Kei with anger, but fear was in your eyes "Your not the Kei I know...you really changed, you got colder, you got careless, you lack empathy its as if you turned into Sato, so Im not dealing with your bullsh** anymore..." you sat on the cold dirty floor with dissapointment

Kou did his best to comfort you by patting your back, but Kei just sighed thinking about it to himself, when Kei was gone you got to know Kou better "really? that must of hurt" you giggled at how ridiculous it was but then again ouch, he seemed cheerful even though you were both stuck in there "You really are something..."

you said while he blushed in embarrassment, it was getting cold out when the sun came down but you didnt have a jacket "are you cold?" Kou asked noticing that you were shivering, you shook you head in denial but a grim expression came onto your face

"Kei...is...not coming back...I will...hunt him down" your Ajin formed beside you, it began climbing the wall busting the truck door open "Woah but Kei said it was impossible even for an Ajin to escape" Kou watched your Ajin in amazement, you demanded it to come back but it didnt listen to you

"Im not dealing... with Keis bullsh**...anymore" your IBM left you both there walking away but then when you sighed closing your eyes you could see from your Ajins point of view "What the hell?" you said while Kou looked at you in surprise "what is it?" he asked when he heared you speak, you kept yours eyes closed replying

"I can see from my Ajins point of view" you said in shock, Kou then got excited like a child "Cool can you control it?!" Kou asked as you walked the Ajin back towards the truck "heck yeah, I have full control" the Ajin chuckled at Kou, you decided to lead your Ajin elsewhere to find something that would help you two escape

"To show my graditude I brought you this" you heared Keis voice so you turned in that direction to see him give a bottle of beer to two old guys "what is he doing?" you said realizing your Ajin copied what you said out loud so you quickly hid so that no one would notice

all night you have been looking for things to help you two escape but then Kou halted you from going any further "its 12:30 you should get some sleep" Kou said as you opened your eyes, he was right, you were tired from controlling your Ajin for a long amount of time, you didnt even know it could stay out that long

(Next Morning)

"Im gonna look again" you said determined as Kou began to work out, your could tell your Ajin didnt like the sun whatsoever "The pharmaceutical has been crushed by the huge building from across the street" you heared the news on tv so then you walked closer to the house to see Kei sitting there drinking tea

"Sato...did all that?!" you thought to yourself in shock, it was amazing how he could pull it off even as an old man, it was like a war against one person... no more like one monster, you then heared the old lady walk towards Kei asking him to help her in the garden "sure" he said with a fake smile

You followed them towards the garden watching as Kei helped her "by the way (y/n) has been gone for quite awhile, arent you worried?" the lady asked beginning to harvest the plants, Kei then remembered what he did "Yeah...Im getting a little worried" Kei said with a face of dissapointment
