Katrina's POV ✖

I awoke with a light burning down on me, the light hurt so bad I let out a yelp in pain.

I was in a hospital.

A few minutes later a face appeared. James.

"Oh I'll turn it off"He said smoothly whilst turning the light off

"Thank you" I whispered softly

"Any time"He smirked

"I take it you want to know what I'm doing here instead of your friends Madison and what's her face"James said a bit confused

"Coral"I helped him

"Yeah that's her"He said

"They were tired and I told them I'd stay here"James smiled

I still had no clue what was going on.

I ran my fingers over my bite marks they hurt really badly

James seen me do this.

"Did you copy me?"He laughed showing me his bite marks

That made me chuckle, I didn't know he was a vampire.

"What happened to me?" I asked a bit dazed

"Well, you passed out and your heart stopped. I ran to the nearest hospital with you. They said if I had waited any longer you would have been dead, well not here since your y'know undead"James said holding my hand.

"Y-you saved m-me"I cried hugging him

James POV ✖

Me and Kat talked for easily an hour. She was beautiful, I mean like on the inside and out. No one had ever stood up for me before. No one had ever taken a liking to me.

Except her.

"You are such a good friend"Katrina smiled

I was kind of hurt when she said friend but then I remembered she goes out with Bradley

"Hey its cool I know you would have done the same"I smirked

"So when can I get out of this place"She whispered

"You need to stay in here"I said to her

She looked sad, even when she smiled she looked sad.

"Right, of course I do"She sighed

"But you could just fly home"I said to her

"Is that OK?"Katrina smirked

"As long as your OK, that's fine with me"I replied smiling like a globbing idiot

"See you in 10 Seconds"She laughed

10 seconds later Kat floated back with her brown hair tied back in a messy pony. She had on a black top with skinny jeans on and converse. She looked amazing.

I could tell that she was tired.

"I'll carry you back if you want"I offered

Without arguing she nodded

I picked her up, she was incredibly light.

"James can you take me back to my room?"She whispered in my ear

"Are you sure you'll be OK?"I asked her

"Do you know how many times you've said that to me?"She smiled

"No"I said

"I don't know either but its a lot"She giggled

I was really tired too, but I didn't mind doing that for her

"We're here, where's your room mate?"I asked

"Well its a full moon"She said "and she's part wolf so she'll be outside I guess"

I smiled

"Do not tell Bradley about this OK"I smirked

"I won't if you won't"Katrina giggled

Kat climbed into her bed, and let out a sigh

"Katrina, what do you honestly see in Bradley?"I said seriously

"He was really nice to me on our first date"she smiled weakly

"That's it?"I nearly shouted

"What's going on?"She whispered

"You deserve someone better than that"I said

"Its great that your looking out for me and all but I can do that myself"She said

Why did I bring that up I thought to myself. All of a sudden my eyes were burning. They were turning red

"James, don't do this"she whispered

But it was too late. I had already went for her, I was no longer in control of my actions.

Suddenly, I felt her lips press up against mine and her hand running through my hair. I was in pure heaven, then I realised I had control of her. I forgot this was one of my powers. Hypnotism

She stood back and took her hair down from the ponytail, letting her long hair fall to her waist. I was so glad her room mate was out

A few seconds later Katrina returned to normal.

"What the hell?"She screamed "why did you make me do that!"

"Katrina I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it"I said trying to calm her down

"Yeah like I've not heard that before"Katrina screamed

"It wasn't me alright. It was...."I trailed off

"Get out now"She roared, her eyes going red

I didn't argue

"Good night"I said sheepishly

"Get lost"Katrina yelled
