Third POV

Its Monday and Sayuri's first day of school after the accident.

Her mother was helping her get dressed since she couldn't do it on her own.

Sasuke offered to take her to and from school, so he was now waiting downstairs talking with the father of Sayuri.

"Tell me what do you like about my daughter?" Hanshiro asked.

"I like how she tells you the truth no matter how bad it might be, or if it would hurt your feelings. She doesn't only thinks about herself, but others too. She's also beautiful, kind-" the father's chuckling made Sasuke stop talking.

If it wasn't Sayuri's father who was laughing he would have been glaring at him so hard right now.

"I think you're just right for my daughter. Please Sasuke take good care of her." Sasuke was glad he approved of him.

"Of course sir."he said getting up and bowing noticing Sayuri being pushed in her wheelchair by her mother.

Sayuri smiled knowing that Sasuke will be taking her to and from school.

"Are you sure you're not hungry honey?" Asked her father.

"I'm sure. If I get hungry I'll get something from school. Promise."

"Ok."

They all went outside to show Sasuke how to get her in and out the wheelchair.

He did all the steps himself, but Sayuri's parents told him how to do it.

Sasuke's POV

I had to carry Sayuri to the passenger seat.

"Ok I'm about to carry you." I said as I approached her. She nodded.

As I carried her I felt my cheeks heat up.

She had her arms around me. That wasn't what made my face heat up, but the fact that I was carrying her bridal style and in front of her parents.

And the way her mom was looking at us didn't help either.

It didn't take long for me to notice that she felt light. Too light.

Is it because of her time at the hospital?

I sat her on the passenger side.

"Thank you." She said as I buckled her up.

"Are you comfortable?" She nodded and I put the chair in the trunk, said goodbye to her parents and entered the car to drive to school.

I hope she doesn't feel like an outcast at school.

Third POV

The car ride was quiet, Sayuri had dark lensed glasses.

Sasuke would steal glances at her from now and then. Just to make sure she was ok.

The small smile on her lips would answer his question.

When they arrived at school Sasuke put her in her chair and pushed her to do their regular school routine before the accident ever happened.

They would hear whispers here and there about Sayuri's arrival.

It didn't bother her but it did bother Sasuke.
