"He wanted revenge! I lead his crew to their deaths , his brothers! And let him live. So he attacked my villages, my family! And in the end...he saved me for last. Shot me in the back with arrow. I would have survived if he hadn't coated the tip with poison."
"Mother, I we can't just die from poison."
"But it wasn't just any poison. It came from a bush with sharp thorns, poison oozing out from them. We found it's origin the day you were born. It was lethal to us so I ordered that it was burned. We thought we got rid of it, we were wrong."
Syrena got up from her spot and made her way towards her mother. She laid her hand on her arm.
"He deserves to rot in hell for what he did. You only let him go to protect him." Syrena said.
"Me protecting him ended up in me being dead and you an orphan."
Juriko turned around and looked down in the well. Syrena did the same. The water looked dirty than it did before.
"Why are we here?" Syrena asked.
"Give me your hand." Juriko said.
Her mother held out her hand and Syrena laid hers inside. Without warning, her mother took out a knife and sliced her palm. She brought her hand back with a yelp.
"What the hell!" Syrena yelled.
Juriko grabbed her arm and held Syrena's hand out in front of the well. Two drops of her blood fell inside and the water started to glow yellow. They backed away as the water started to rise and a yellow fog flowed out of it and onto the ground.
Syrena watched as the fog went past her get and started to spread fast behind them.
"Mother, what's happening?" Syrena asked.
"Look around." Juriko said.
Syrena did as she was told and looked around. The burnt bark on the trees glowed before going away turning the tree back to its original heath.
"Your blood is very powerful, Syrena. The fog will spread through out our villages and Bethromra. You have the power to bring life back into the dead! Imagine what no, who you could bring back...like Wink." Juriko said.
"I could bring him back?" Syrena asked softly.
"Of course."
Syrena took in a breath. She felt her cut close up, as if it wasn't there. Her mother grabbed her hand. They both watched as the fog continued to flow out of the well until it stopped. Flowers that weren't there before shined with a yellow hue. Trees looked green and bright even the sand had a glow to it.
"Pretty...."Syrena said in awe.
Her mother laughed and pulled her into a hug.
"Let's go back to the others."

"Everyone, can I have your attention!" Juriko said.
Everyone in the village went quite. Their was tables set and decorations. All of the creatures who still lived in Bethromra came, happy that their home was back to its beauty. They all looked up at Juriko. Syrena stood next to her Nuada to her side. They stood on a big boulder so everyone could see them.
"As you know.....I have gather all of you here today to rejoice! Our home has been brought back to us!"
Everyone hollered and cheered, clapping and pumping their fist in the air. Juriko rasied her hand and the crowed went silent.
"Yes...it has been a great day indeed. But let us not forget the one person who brought Bethromra back to its glory! My daughter Princess Syrena!"
Again everyone cheered. Nuada but his hand on the small of Syrenas back and pushed her up. Syrena looked back at him before looking out at the crowed.
"And let's not forget the one person that helped bring my daughter back. Prince Nuada!"
Nuada stepped up next to Syrena. The crowed got louder, so loud that it started to hurt Syrena's ears. Juriko raised her hand again.
"Thank you. As you all know who I am, you also know who this woman next to me is. Of course those outside of her tribe call her by a different name. Through the years and few months I've known Syrena, even though she doesn't remember a lot of her past with me. I happy to be the one who got to bring her back. It has been a true honor of being in your presence, and to know you Syrena." Nuada said.
He picked up Syrena's hand and kissed it making a blush creep onto her cheeks. Syrena flet something being put over her shoulder and saw it was her bow. Syrena looked at her mother.
"Mama you-"
"The bow belongs to you now. So does my necklace." Her mother said.
Syrena nods her head.
"People of Bethromra! I give you Syrena, Queen of the Golden army!" Nuada yelled.
Everyone went down on their knees, bowing before Syrena. She couldn't believe it. She had always seen a big crowd like this bow down to her mother, she never imagined that this would happen to her. Standing up above them while they kneeled.
In all her glory.
