The Confrontation

I calmed down and went back to class.I felt relieved to be back in class....until Mr Sarge arrived.I sat at my usual desk and Mr Sarge stood at his desk.

"Alright you miserable lot"Mr Sarge said "I am going to get you in to pairs for today's activity.I will pick random people and they will be partnered-"

I drained his annoying voice to think of things.Both of my parents are dead,Big Joe is trying to get rid of me,my life is in a mess and I can't figure out who that note is for that I found in Jack's book.Which reminds me,I wonder if I should give that back to him.I think I should just in case.I stare out the window when I spot a person at the gates of the school.It was girl wearing a white dress.She had blonde hair and white flats on her feet.She looked about 6 years old.She was staring at me like a hawk.Mr Sarge interrupted my sight.

"Ella!"He yelled

"Yes Mr Sarge"I replied kindly

"You are partners with Jack.Pay attention!"Mr Sarge spoke

I looked back to see the girl but she disappeared.I was looking at her 30 seconds ago.How did she disappear quick?I sat with Jack and began working.

"Jack,can I ask you a question?"I asked

"What do you want to ask?"Jack said

I gave him the love note I found.He looked shocked that I found it.I think that confirms that he wrote and found out that it was missing.Mystery solved.

"Where did you find it?"Jack asked

"It was in your book"I answered "Did you write this?"

"No"Jack admitted "I was keeping this a secret for a friend"

Ok.Correction,mystery unsolved.If it wasn't Jack who wrote it,then who was it that wrote it?

"Who wrote it?"I asked

"That is a secret between me and my friend"Jack said.Damn it!

"Can you tell me who it's for?"I wondered

Jack smiled and nodded no.I should of guessed he was not going to tell me!

"Fine"I replied "At least we finished the activity"

The bell rang for lunch and that is another class gone from Mr Sarge.

I went down to HQ and to my surprise,no one was here.I went to my room and sat on my bed.Suddenly,Ashton walked in.He came in and sat next to me.

"Hi Ella"Ashton greeted

"Hey"I greeted back

"Can I talk to you?"Ashton asked

"Of course"I answered "What's up?"

"I know that this might seem weird but I can't seem to figure what is on her mind"Ashton said

"To be honest"I admitted "I have no idea what you are talking about"

"Well" Ashton explained "I don't know when the best time to tell her is"

"That makes sense"I replied "I would try to figure out if she has a lover or not and also what type of boy she is after"

"Ok"Ashton said "Thanks,I don't know what I would do without you...and the others of course"

Ashton left HQ and I got ready to go to bed.

I laid down on the bed to go through the day.I have powers,I saw a girl,someone apart from Jack wrote the note.It is 8pm.I should get some sleep.I closed my eyes and fell into a nice rest.I woke up at 11pm.I am wide awake.I turned over and that is when I spotted something.I walked to take a closer look.It was a sword.I picked it up and I took it out of it's blade protector.The blade and the handle looked like platinum.It might come in handy.I picked up the note and read it.

This is really weird.I don't get what that even says.Is it a riddle? I walked over to the main HQ when I saw her.The girl at the gates. How did she get in here?I walked closer to her.

"What do you want?"I asked

She did not respond.She just stared at me.

"Why are looking at me like that?"I said

Again,She did not respond.

"Why me?"I screamed

She looked at me and started giggling.Why she she laughing?

She sang before she disappeared "Peace kills Evil"

That is when it hit me.She was the girl.The girl who sang.
