The python's rage

I close my eyes trying to forget what I just saw. My heart is in my throat and I try to steady my heartbeat. Clenching my fists I scream inside making a fit hoping to erase any memory of him.
Piggie coos and my eyes flutter open. Standing up from my bed, I head to the window as I watch rain droplets race each other in my view. Why did my life turn  out like this?

I walked as fast as I could out of the bathroom, leaving temptation behind. The room is silent, thunder seeming to add melody to the cold room. My body is in flames as the images of Keilan half naked forces itself in my mind.
I grab my phone, trying to contact Lindsey and tell her everything. As I almost press on the call button, I choose not to. It's time Lindsey shows her affection first and not the other way around.
As if on cue, Lindsey's name appears. I smile answering the call.

** hey bitch. I tots missed you. My parents told me everything how is it there?

*its pathetic. Guys here are cool. You know, except for the dragon and the ice queen. You won't believe what I'm just about to tell you.

** spill the beans girl. Then tell me why you didn't tell me you left us that night.

I mentally sigh as I remember the night  I slapped Keilan then ran away.

*well things went pretty awkward and I just had to leave. Anyway so I kind of saw...

I turn only to see the perfect piece of art standing in his righteous glory. He raises an eyebrow, walking up to me.

**what did you see Ruby?... Ruby?.... Ruby darn it talk

Clearing my throat, Lindsey's voice dominates the line. He stood in front me, the heat from the bath radiating off him. My hand weakly releases my phone from its hold as Keilan takes it. He smiles as he switches it off.

"I don't want anyone to know where I am. Can you keep it between us?"

I nod, a promise made to him. He caresses my face before turning to pet Piggie. My mind was swirling with questions I chose not to ask.
If he doesn't want to tell me anything, I certainly won't force him to.

He can give me company in this cold attic, I mean it's like a dream come true. Having my own true knight with me when the nights seem scary and cold.

Staring at him I realize he doesn't have clean clothes to wear. How did I not notice that? He seems to be comfortable walking half naked. I mean I'm not complaining but he has to be somehow feeling cold.

As he turns, I drift my gaze away from his sculptured body "I'll get clean clothes from my dad's closet", walking out of the door before he replies, I walk down the forsaken steps, following the hallway I was last scratched in.

I see the evil cat twirling its tail as it enters some room only to be thrown out, the door slammed right at its face.
I laugh at its distraught, the shriek it made replaying in my head. "Hey missy. Don't cry".

Caressing it's fur, it releases vibratos that passes through my fingers.

A crescendo in Julia's room is heard and I bet she's talking to Sarah, her best friend. The cat looks up at me when I stop petting it and instantly turns from the sweet and hurt kitty to its usual self.
We head towards different directions, forgetting that any emotional connection had taken place.
