Kenzie Trink is 16. And she's a small town with a little following on YouTube. But even with people who encourage her everyday, she's still not happy. That is until she moved to Kansas from Olympia Washington.
And there she meets the on...
"I'm thinking about cuddling you to death", he says and grabs, the pulls me into his embrace. My arms are folded across my chest, and Tanners are gripping my back tightly so I can't move. "I can't breathe", I say over exaggerating it. Tanner laughs, "good." "Oh wow so nice", I say rolling my eyes. "Yup", he replies. I relax my body and close my eyes.
Suddenly Tanner let's me go and I flop on my back. "Finally. I can breathe", I say fake gasping for air. He chuckles then puts his forearm on the left side of my head, trapping me. I let out a shaky breathe as our eyes meet. I lick my lips and see Tanners twitch up into a small smirk. He leans down and presses his lips to mine. God his lips are like a drug and I'm an addict. I put my hand on his cheek and he brushes out noses together. "Kenzie", Tanner says looking into my eyes. "Yes", I reply, my eyes wide. "Will you go out with me?", he asks bitting his lip. A small smile plays on my lips. No Kenzie. Just say no. Who needs friends anyways!
I need friends that who! God I hate arguing with myself. I don't want to ruin our friendship if I say yes. But I also might ruin our relationship If I say no. "Kenzie?", Tanner asks lifting his head up a little bit. "Id love to go on a date with you", I say smiling. Gosh darn it! Ugggg I'm so miserable but so happy at the same time!
His lips curl up into a smirk then leans down and kisses me again before wrapping me up in his arms. "I'll pick you up tomorrow at eight", he says still holding me. "Sounds good", I say smiling. Well this should be good.

Okay so it's 6:30 and I have an hour and a half to get ready before Tanner picks me up. I already showered today saving myself some time, but I don't know where we're going. I pick up my phone then text Tanner.
Me: So how am I supposed to dress tonight?
Tanner😘😜: just casual, nothing too fancy. Like jeans or leggings. But wear something warm...😁
Me: okay thanks. But why do I need to wear something warm?
Tanner😘😜: you'll find out soon enough😏😏
Me: okay😂😂
I plug my phone in, wanting it to be fully charged before walking over to my dresser. I guess I could start my choosing my outfit. This could take a while. Ha just kidding, I'm not like that stereotypical girl who takes forever to get ready.

I decided to wear my Pink, the brand, white long sleeve T shirt with gold embroidery in it a pair leggings and my cute Uggs.

I also grab a gray jacket because Tanner said to dress warm.
I don't do anything fancy with my makeup, just black winged eyeliner, mascara and I also filled in my eyebrows and put on a little highlight and bronzer to make my cheek bones pop a little more.
With my hair I decided to curl it then put it in a high pony. I go to my bathroom and brush my teeth before checking my phone. I got a text from Tanner.
Tanner😘😜: I'm on my way, See you soon
Me: okay see you soon
I set down my phone then look around my room. Finally I spot my purse at the end of my bed and I belly flop onto my bed to get it. But it's still out of reach. So I wiggle up and grab it. Then I get up and grab my phone.
Butterfly's fly around in my stomach thinking about what's going to happen tonight, as I walk down the stairs. I can't wait. But then again, I can.
