All poems hold a meaning
But some aren't meant to be understood
They are meant to be felt:
The words woven into strands
Carefully crafted into stanzas
Twisting with patterned rhymes
And twinning with numbered syllables.

The painstakingly crafted metaphors                                                                                                                                                               Hidden beneath the cryptic code                                                                                                                                                                      of literarity Are not always                                                                                                                                                                     meant to be interpreted

The cautiously structured haikus                                                                                                                                                                                         Not to be unravelled                                                                                                                    But to be left in their                                                                                                                                                                               clothing of complexity

To feel the emotions invoked through the words
As raw and unrefined
As the letters of life inked on the parchment of our souls

Sometimes true beauty lies not solely in the meaning
But the feeling
For the things man cannot fully know
Are those which they are most drawn to

Why do you think
Some of the best poems
are the ones
Which no one understands?
