Glancing over towards the clock it read '1:32' a growling sound rumbled from your stomach as the idea of food popped into your head. Breakfast was ignored today as you were in the process of moving so the only sustenance you acquired was the tea and biscuits from John and Sherlock. The two were completely polar opposites, John had his welcoming smile with his comfy jumper where as Sherlock would dress prim and proper in some form of suit while he hosted that eerie stare. Were they a couple? The two seemed to get along well, for such different personalities anyway. 'That's none of your business' as annoying as the internal voice of yours was, it had a point. You shouldn't nose where you aren't welcome.

Sighing heavily your dead weight sauntered to the kitchen area of the apartment, pulling open the fridge door you groaned with irritation

"Of course there's nothing to eat."

Slamming the cream door shut again you glanced about with a hopeful look only to be welcomed with an empty counter top. Muttering under your breath you flinched as a series of knocks blundered onto the front door.

"The hell is that now?"

Shuffling towards the door, the knocks stopped. Slowly pulling it to, revealed Sherlock standing with a nonchalant stare while his hands clasped behind his back. A startled gasp erupted from your lips "Oh, Sherlock. You startled me"

"Hardly appropriate, when in fact you answered the door" He dismissed your comment with a slight frown before entering on his own terms.

"Make yourself at home" The consultant detective turned in response to the sarcastic tone before quirking a smirk

"You have a few minutes to get ready, (y/n)"

"... Ready, ready for what?"

A mocking chuckle flowed smoothly from his vocals "Before you go out with me and John for lunch of course. Now chip chop I do not like to be kept waiting" And with that Sherlock had left the apartment to go upstairs.

'What in gods name was that all about?!' Whatever it was, it was weird indeed. Hesitantly heading towards the wardrobe your eyes cast a glazed look over the few items of clothing you had unpacked. Within a few seconds you had removed a fluffy dressing gown and replaced it with an outfit consisting of a pair of jeans, (f/c) tunic with a pair of worker boots. It was casual but not sloppy, you didn't want to go over the top considering that you were only going out with your neighbours

'good looking neighbours... SHUT UP.'

Shaking your head lightly you gave a once over in the mirror before heading outside.

John was already standing on the pavement waiting for you and Sherlock's arrival. "Hey, (y/n)" With his signature grin he pulled you into a hug, the unexpected gesture put a shade of pink to your cheeks before he released you.

The front door slammed as Sherlock waltzed out in a grey trench coat pulling the collar up, he hailed a cab opening the door and hoisting himself into it. He didn't bother offering 'Ladies First' it didn't effect you that much considering you hadn't lived a well mannered life anyways, but John seemed to mind quite a bit.

"Ugh, Sherlock must you always be so rude?"

He remained silent in the cab until John heaved a sigh offering a hand towards the cab entrance. Nodding lightly you carefully hopped into the vehicle cautious not to clamber over Sherlock in the process, you sat down into the seat on the right as John placed himself opposite Sherlock.
