Part 1 Hunting Practice

Little foot steps were pattering across the forest floor.  I listened closely, then turned and pounced in the direction of my older sibling. Just missing I fell on my face in one big uncontrolled tumbling motion.  Sister slowed to a stop and growled, "You need to work on that or you will starve," she snapped. "But you can catch food for me!!" I whined. "I might not always be here for you" she snarled. "But why do I have to practice, we've been doing this all morning" I complained. Her albino fur glistened in the morning sun as she looked at me and said "Again!".  But I was extremely exhausted so I just dropped onto the ground, "GET UP!" she screeched. "But I'm tired and hungry," I complained. "This is why we are practicing!" she snapped. "Fine!" I moaned... After what felt like eternity of practicing I could finally rest, although rest did not bring much satisfaction with muscle pain seeping deep to my bones. As the sun began to set, we slowly returned to our home beside a huge fig tree with sweet purple fruit, that attracted the most succulent of rodents.
