I inject it all into my veins and take a deep breath.
I know they say drugs are bad for me but it doesn't matter, they don't know the rush of the alternate reality that it creates. The adrenaline pumping through my blood and the funny sort of creatures and things I see in the world made up by my mind are extraordinary.
But this time the shock doesn't hit me like it did.
I shrug it off and my mind drifts away as I see one of the creatures in front of me, slowly bending his way into my room. I laugh and sit on my bed numbly.
I don't know why but this seems so vivid, so real. Maybe this new one really messes me up.
I see it climb over me and do something that none of these things have ever actually done to me.
It starts smelling me like a dog smells someone. I feel my legs numb and I can't move at all.
I see it bring its blood laden face in front of me and smile the most gruesome smile I have ever seen. I turn away somehow and try to run.
That's when I see the empty syringe I used.
It was my sister's, with only some glucose.
I hear it chuckle as I feel my brain being plucked out.
