Sang was starting to feel a little claustrophobic being trapped in the doorway still with these two unfamiliar women.  She was reluctant around women to begin with due to her past, and these women were overstepping every boundary she had ever placed.

"Mom let her come up for air or are you only here to see Sang." Kota said from farther in the room. Both men stood near the couch looking at the women in awe. "Jess?  That can't be you. You aren't the little girl I remember, come here and let me see you. I just love your hair cut and sweetie I hate to say this but that shade of pink is so not your color it's practically  draining your completion. Don't worry, uncle Gabe is gonna come to your rescue." Gabe squeals as he leaps forward and all but drags the young woman Sang assumed was Jess by the hand heading toward the bath room both of them giggling the whole way.

Now that she wasn't surrounded anymore Sang was able to distinguish which scent belonged to which woman. The woman who stood in front of her was obviously Kota's mother. She had the same eyes as Kota yet hers held more wisdom and experience behind her emerald orbs with a trace of mischievousness that she hasn't seen in Kota yet. Yet! Why was she thinking of the future? That thought brought Sang more into the present as she realized that the jasmine scent wasn't nearly as overpowering once the sickeningly sweet cotton candy smell of Jess was not present.

With a impish grin Kota's mother looked Sang straight in the eye and proclaimed, "It is a pleasure to finally meet you. I'm gonna tell you like I've told his friends through the years, you can just call me mom but if you aren't comfortable doing that yet i completely understand. You can call me Erica if Mom is to presumptuous. Kota was mighty worried about you missy, you need to take better care of yourself. You look like you don't eat enough. You are a part of this family now so I expect to see you when these ravenous dogs come to dinner on Sunday evenings. No ands, ifs, or buts allowed. Now come give me another hug before I get my hands on my naughty little boy"

Sang felt the giggles start and had to look down so they wouldn't see the bright shade of pink her face most likely had turned. As strange as it felt all awkwardness was forgotten as she was embraced by Erica once again this time not as desperate almost like how Sang had always dreamt how a Mom should hug her child. "Thank you Mom, I'll be there early to help you cook if that's alright" Sang all but whispered.

Erica tried her hardest not to let anyone know how much those  little words from Sang made her heart swell with love and pride for her son on finding this little gem. Erica could see how much family meant to Sang. Erica didn't want to scare Sang away but had to know what Sang's feeling for her son was. She looked over at her lost boy. "DAKOTA!  Get your naughty little behind over here right now young man. You have a lot of explaining to do."

Erica heard the sharp sudden intake of breathe from Sang beside her. This must have upset her because instead of going to her Kota went straight to Sang  wrapping her in his arms. Kota whispered something in Sang's ear.  Erica had to stop herself from gushing or squealing when she looked over and seen Sang looking deeply in Kota's eyes whispering... "One Sexy Kota... Two Sexy Kota..."  Erica couldn't hold back the giggles after hearing five more sexy Kotas.

Once she started giggling Sang looked over and started giggling too. "What happened sweet girl? I'm sorry if it was something I said or did." Erica finally asked looking at Sang with a concerned look.

Kota felt the need to answer for her. "She thought you were seriously mad at me and was scared for me. She didn't realize you were only joking."

"Ok, now explain counting sexy Kota's," Erica had that mischievous look in her eyes at that comment.

"Oh, don't tell me they did that shit with you around. It's sickening isn't it? When she has the beginning of an anxiety attack she does that fucking shit, they haven't told me why she does that it must be some inside joke or something. So what do y'all think of my newest masterpiece?" Gabe announced as he swept his arms toward the door where Jess now stood. The dark pink shirt now replaced by one of Sang's deep purple button ups half buttoned with a white cami underneath. Her make up muted down to a more natural look and hair no longer up but cascading down her back in waves of chestnut colored silk.

No one said a word until Jess ran across the room and practically leapt into Kota's arms. "I've missed you so much, please don't do that too us again. Life has been hell without you here with us. Did Mom tell you everything that happened?"

"No, she didn't. She just now finally noticed I was even in the room. Why don't we all sit down and talk." Sang heard Kota say. Her face was still red from being caught counting again.  She knew she had to control this compulsion she has to count sexy Kota's now.

Sang felt familiar hands grab hers and pull her toward the couch where she all but fell into Kota's lap. She was sure her face had turned an even darker shade of red than before.

"So what's happened?" Kota asked at the same time Gabe blurts out, "Did you get some of our clothes I don't have time to go shopping yet."

Erica couldn't help but laugh at their familiar personality quirks. Kota always looking out for everyone and Gabe and his obsession with clothes.

"Yes we remembered to grab all the clothes we could find. Plus a couple surprises. And before you ask I had to put all your things into storage so I could turn your bedroom into a room to rent out.  After you left it got harder to pay the bills so I needed the extra income. As I find more of your things I'll let you know." Erica said in a neutral toned voice.

Even Sang knew that Erica was holding something back but it wasn't her place to say anything. Again the boys different personalities showed with their varying responses. Kota, "Did you run a background check on this person? What aren't you telling me?" Gabe's response so typical of him, "Surprises! I love surprises! Bring on the surprises!" all said with a sing song tone that reminded Sang of a child at their birthday waiting on presents.

Erica deflected answering Kota's question by focusing on Gabe's childish response. "Of course I brought surprises. It's in the big bag over there. I used to have them all but not sure where they all are now."

Sang meet Kota and Gabe's eyes with a huge smile and thought, this ordeal of finding the rest of the boys might not be as hard as they thought it was going to be.

Gabe ran to said bag and pulled out a box that was wrapped in paper. He tore the paper with such excitement only to have his face fall as he looked at the box.

"Look it's a mini you Kota. How cute is that." Sang grimaced at the forced enthusiasm in Gabe's voice. She just hoped Erica didn't notice and feel offended by it.

"There's more Gabe keep going." Erica luckily hadn't noticed and if she had writing off the lack of enthusiasm as disappointment from it not being his mini me, but she knew he wouldn't be disappointed for long.

Gabe grabbed another wrapped box tearing the paper again haphazardly. The paper fluttered to the floor.  Everyone jumped as Gabe all that squeals as he hugs the box to his chest.

He turns to box to face Sang and Kota and with the biggest grin Sang had seen on him announced, "We found Luke's mini me" as he skips from the room toward the kitchen like he had no care in the world.

Erica couldn't help but laugh at Gabe's reaction. She knew he would react that giddy but want prepared for him leaving the room. "Wait, you didn't open all the surprises!" She all but yelled toward the kitchen.

Gabe peeked his head around the door opening to the kitchen. The excitement made his eyes seem to glow, "You mean there's more?!"

Gabe ran back to the bag and sure enough there was another box. How had he missed that earlier. Before he could open the paper though everyone jumped from the sudden noise from the kitchen.

The sound of pots and pans clattering and cabinet doors opening and closing followed by a voice singing "Where are you hiding the chocolate in this place. I know you have some I can smell it.  Where are you my Sweetness? Come to me my sweet sugary goodness!"

Sorry it took so long I had to rewrite it all. Was hoping to have it finished as a Valentine's day present to all y'all but nothing seems to go my way lately. But such is life.

Love y'all and thank you for understanding and bearing with my unpredictable updates. I genuinely don't know how some of you can juggle more than one story and regularly update. You all have my complete and utter respect.

Love y'all and hope y'all had a wonderfully perfect Valentine's day!
