Neighbor was thinking of nothing besides what her body would feel in contact with his. Once he touched her cheeks, the little resistance she still had would disappear. After the few kisses spread on her neck she would give up; and then it was up to him. Observing how adorable she was he lingered his eyes cautiously across her nose, then her eyebrows.
By the age of 13 Helen was told stories of defenseless girls walking by themselves in the middle of the night. She was told about how massive a single man could be when compared to her, and how defenseless someone small like her would be if not careful. By the age of 19 she met a colleague in College who was jogging peacefully and a complete stranger made her believe there was an accident and people needed help. She was brought into a lonely alley and horribly forced to do sexual performances against her will. The guy in question wasn't punished until his actions were proved by the police investigation and the work took more than a year. While the guy wasn't arrested the girl would miss months of school and her story, spread throughout the whole city.
Most of assaults involved drunken man in night clubs. Cases like that were more common than Helen wished they were, and it was an horrible legacy, unfortunately, from the archaic male world they still lived in. Now, noticing the way he looked at her she felt the necessity to run.
The little Canadian flag with the shape of a heart rested peacefully against her chest. Playful, Neighbor took it between his fingers; playful, he caressed its surface and made an attempt to move his nose closer...
Helen breathed in deeply, moving his hand to the side, "I think we should make a coffee... and..."
"Are you afraid of me, Helen?" He was already going forward again, slithering his hands toward her body, searching for the seam of her dress. His touch felt as though his fingers had acid on them. Helen's insides twisted and smacked like a lemon. There was nothing that could come out of her mouth to stop him. In fact, a simple "no" would only turn his actions into crimes. And she felt emptier, as if everything she has ever eaten had been sacked and stolen.
His words revolted her. His person revolted her. "Come here, bae, we can do so well together..."
Thanks for bumping into my story;)
