(Kitara's P.O.V.)

It was clear something was wrong. They insisted both girls were perfectly healthily, but I knew they were wrong. I first saw it with Akira, she wouldn't cry. Even if she was hurt, she wouldn't cry. Not even small noises like a normal baby makes.

Miyako wouldn't look at anyone. I knew infants had a hard time seeing, but it seemed like she couldn't see anything. We took them in, fed up.

We were in the waiting room and saw another couple. They were holding a rattle over their little girl's head, but she kept looking around. When she did look up, she was uninterested in the rattle. Someone else had our problem. "Appointment for Yami Daiko," they walked back.

"Well," the doctor said. "You won't like it. First off, Akira is mute." We hoped she was just tough. "And Miyako is completely blind."

"Completely," I asked in sorta shock. She began to scream as the doctor tried to touch her. Her dad picked her up but it didn't help. "Here," I grabbed her. She calmed down some. "Hey, why are you crying? I should be the one upset." She stopped, managing to look me in the eye.

"They'll be just fine with parents like you though," the doctor smiled.Akira was picked up by her dad and we left.

(Miyako's P.O.V.)

"Miyako, Akira, wake up! You'll be late for school on your first day!" I rolled over and groaned. I got up and got ready. my favorite shirt and pants, so comfy. Mom told me the cloths were rather worn out, but I still loved them. Mom walked into my room, and I turned around to face her. "Let me see your arm," I held it out and she grabbed it. Something was put on my wrist.

"What's this?" I asked while I felt it. It had my name on it, and a cross, or I thought.

"So people at the school know that you're blind," I thanked her. "And be careful, you don't know your way around this house yet. Not to mention there are boxes scattered everywhere." I nodded and she hugged me. "Love you Kitten," I smiled.

"Love ya mom," she walked out of the room and walked over to get my phone. It wasn't where I had left it, great. I walked out of my room, which was a small one in the back. "Mom, where's my phone?" I stopped when I heard footsteps come near me.

"Sorry, it had to charge," she grabbed my hand and placed my phone in it. It was a slide phone, not exactly the new iPhone 7, but it worked for me. Not like I could see to play flappy bird. Though when Akira played it in our old room, I wanted to throw her phone across the room. But she beat me to it. "Akira, wake up! Miyako beat you up!" I flinched, she was right by me.

At the school, Akira and me told mom bye as she got back in her car. "Remember, right to the office and wait." I nodded. "Okay, love you girls, bye."

We walked into the building, stopping when we heard someone walking. Clicking, high heals. A woman, she stopped when she saw us I guess.

"Um, excuse me, may I help you two?" I stayed quiet, not like Akira could answer. She walked closer. "What are you two doing here, if you have no business here, than leave." She grabbed my arm, and felt the bracelet mom gave me. She read it, and let go of me. "Oh, you must be the new students. Miyako and Akira," she stepped back some. "Well, follow me please." Akira pulled me along again when I didn't move.

We sat in the office where they told us to, saying we had to wait for someone. "After that we will call some of the students down, they will help you out throughout the day, same grade as you." I sighed and leaned on Akira.

(Yami's P.O.V.)

Someone shook me, and I opened my eyes to see who it was. Mom, she was talking to me in sign language. 'Hurry, our you'll be late for school.' I sat up and stretched.

She dropped me off in front of the school. She made a heart with her hands, and I returned the gesture. 'Strait to the office,' she signed. I gave her a thumbs up. I waved and walked inside.

When I got inside, I saw a woman come from beside me. She was going on about something, but talking to fast for me to read her lips. I pointed to my ears, shaking my head. She still went on. 'I'm deaf,' I signed.

She stopped dead in her tracks. I held up the medical bracelet mom gave me, and the woman rolled her eyes. She grabbed my arm, pulling me along. Another person walked up to me. 'Yami Deiko, right?' I nodded. 'Okay, please sit and wait here.' I nodded and sat.

I saw two girls, I waved. Only one waved back. I got tired and just got on my phone. I looked up and the one that responded was signing. 'Are you deaf,' she asked. 'Yeah, and you?' 'Mute, name's Akira Sakura.' She pointed to the other one. 'And this is my twin sister, Miyako Himura.'

'What's up with her,' I asked. 'Blind,' I nodded. 'What's your name?' She asked. I was about to answer but something caught my eye. A woman walked over followed by three kids.

(Akira's P.O.V.)

She was about to answer when something got our attention. The woman from before was back, with three kids behind her. Two girls and one boy. The boy had white hair and green eyes. One girl had red hair and blue eyes, and the other had blue hair and eyes.

"Um," she looked at Yami. "I don't know sign language," the boy and one girl stepped forward.

"I know a little," he said. She shook her head.

"I got it," she stepped by the one from before. "Just talk," the woman nodded and looked back at us.

"Hello, I am the assistant principal of the school," the girl was good. "These three have offered to stay with you throughout the day, help where it is needed. You will have the same schedule as them, so they are in your same grade." We nodded, save for Miyako. "Now, Sabrina with Miyako, Mánlo with Yami, and Yoshimi with Akira." She walked off.

He walked up to me, he was kinda cute. But I just stood and he held out his hand. "Yoshimi Sado," I shook it. "Anyway, you're the blind one," he was dumb. "Oh, deaf one." I face palmed. I held back to urge to slap him and walked off.

He chased me out, "so the mute?" I turned and slow nodded like he was slow. Wait, he was. He looked at me like I was stupid. "Well, rude." I rolled my eyes and kept walking. "Wait," I ran. This was gonna be fun.

(Sabrina's P.O.V.)

I watched and laughed as Yoshimi and Akira ran down the hall. I looked back at Miyako, she was just sitting there. I walked up and tapped her shoulder, and she jumped. Was she sleeping? I smiled and filled her in. She nodded and yawned. She was sleeping. "Come on, I wanna make sure you know you way around." She nodded and stood.

"Okay," I smiled and grabbed her hand to pull her along. She didn't protest, she just walked with me. After the tour I took her to our second class.

"Hey Miyako, I have a question." She nodded. "Why didn't u get into any of the special classes, you would probably do better in there." She sighed.

"Because, I didn't want to be treated differently," I looked back. "I"m blind, not slow." I smiled and walked into class. I liked her, not like the others.

(Mánlo's P.O.V.)

Yami waved and I waved back. "So, you're gonna show me around or what?' I nodded and gestured which way to walk. We stopped by all the spots, and to second hour.

'So Yami,' she looked at me. 'You could go into the deaf classes, why don't you?' She smiled and signed, 'Because I'm that awesome.' I laughed as we walked in.

(Kenu's P.O.V.)

Kitara walked back in, I was in the kitchen. "Did they get there on time?" I asked and she just looked at me. "Honey, what's wrong?" I asked and she looked down.

"Did we do the right thing by not telling them why we moved?" She asked as she looked back up at me.

"Yeah, it was the best thing." I felt bad for saying this. "Akira is strong, but Miyako probably wouldn't be able to defend herself." She hugged me.

"That threat, it wasn't directed at us in the slightest, it was on them." I hugged her tighter.

"He won't find us." I said.

(Third person)

The man watched from the shadows as the man comforted his wife, holding his arm. He smiled, "soon." He laughed. "Very soon," he vanished.
