Castiel spit minty toothpaste into the sink and looked up into his reflection in the mirror. He looked like shit. His hair was in a twisted disarray, there were bags under his eyes, and he looked paler than usual. Cas had wanted to look good for his first day but now it seemed that that just wasn't going to happen. As he tried to rub some colour into his face, a just-woken-up Gabriel walked through the open bathroom door.
"Mornin'," Gabe croaked, as he headed for the toilet.
Castiel looked at Gabe's reflection in the mirror, clearly annoyed. "Jesus Christ, can't you see someone's using the bathroom?"
The shorter guy turned towards Cas, and looked at him, disgruntled. "Yeah. Me," he then began to unzip his fly.
Castiel rolled his eyes and walked out, closing the door behind him.
"You look like shit!" Gabe called, his voice muffled by the thin plywood.
"I know," Cas mumbled, as he ruffled his hair. Castiel flopped down on his bed, thankful that he'd had the foresight to pack up his textbooks the night before. Getting up early sucked, especially after a summer of sleeping in and working night-shifts. Castiel had sacrificed almost everything just to get into a good school in order to secure his future. He'd juggled two jobs during high school, and somehow managed to still ace all his classes. With a tremendous amount of effort, Castiel got to choose a school of his choice and now that the hard part was over, he could turn all his attention to his studies and hopefully graduate university with flying colours. He smiled to himself. This was exactly where he was supposed to be.
"What's up bitches!?!" Gabriel screamed in an overly high voice as he burst out of the bathroom, interrupting Castiel's revere. Gabe was entirely decked out in a leather jacket, a fresh white t-shirt and black jeans along with shiny motorcycle boots. His hair was slicked back and there were a pair of aviator sunglasses on his head, full out greaser style.
"Whoa," was all Castiel could say. He couldn't understand how Gabe had transformed so much in under five minutes while Cas still looked like he crawled out from under a rock.
"I know right," Gabe said nodding, knowing that he looked like a chick magnet.
"Isn't that a bit hardcore?" Castiel tried to play off his respect for the outfit with disinterest.
"Hell no! This is how the G-Man rolls!"
"G-Man?" Castiel asked skeptically.
"Don't question, just respect," Gabriel said offhandedly as he checked himself out in the floor-length mirror.
Castiel groaned and got to his feet, they had to be across campus and in a classroom in ten minutes. "We better go," Cas said as he glanced at his watch.
Gabe slipped his sunglasses onto his face and grinned. "There ain't no 'we' about it. I'm outa here!" He then strolled out the front door, and closed it with a slam.
Cas shook his head, annoyed that Gabe was going to blow off school on the first day when it was such a privilege that he even got to be here.
Shouldering his messenger bag, Cas listened as a motorcycle revved up and peeled away just as quickly. He resisted the urge not to roll his eyes.

It had been twenty minutes and Castiel's History teacher "Mr. Winchester", still hadn't shown up yet. He tapped his pen impatiently against the desk, just wanting to learn. After all, that's what he came here for anyways. All the other students were laughing and talking loudly with their friends, enjoying the time that they didn't have to spend listening to the professor. Cas looked around, hoping that there would be someone that he could talk to, but it seemed like everyone was absorbed in conversations about sex, beer-pong and Friday nights. "Intelligent," Castiel thought to himself. He hated that kind of imbecility. Cas fell back in the chair, willing himself to disappear when all of a sudden, someone clapped him on the back.
"Heya!"
"Gabriel!" Cas said in shock, he hadn't expected the short trickster to be anywhere on campus today. At all. "I thought you blew off school!"
"Nah," Gabriel said taking a seat next to Cas. "Mr. Winchester is always ages late."
"Oh," Cas said, considering this. "Well anyways, thanks for coming to sit with me!"
Gabriel smirked, "Oh please, I didn't come here for you. I came here for him," he said, gesturing towards an extremely tall, long haired brunette coming towards them.
Castiel had to stop himself from letting his jaw fall open. That was one attractive dude!
"Don't get any ideas sport," Gabe said, clapping him on the back again as the brunette sat beside him. He smiled and turned his attention away from Cas and towards the other boy.
Invisible again.
Finally, after nearly half an hour, Mr. Winchester showed up. He strolled into the room like he owned the entire establishment and Castiel felt his heart fly up into his throat. Despite having the most drawing sense of presence, Mr. Winchester was HOT. Cas's mouth was suddenly very dry; his teacher wasn't just HOT, he was hands down the most beautiful, captivatingly handsome man that Castiel had ever laid eyes on in his entire nineteen years of life. Mr. Winchester was so tantalizing that Castiel failed to notice that the whole class had fallen silent upon the teacher's entrance as well. He felt like he was melting, like his body had turned to warm liquid chocolate and he wanted to know his teacher, he wanted to know everything about him. He wanted to know him inside-out.

"Alright class," he began, and Cas almost fell out of his chair at the sound of his voice. "I know that a lot of you are just starting today, and I know that for a lot of you this is your second semester," the class began to murmur to each other, conversing over who was who. "But I also know!" He began again, drawing the attention back in. "That you're all here for one thing, and that is History! Notebooks, and laptops out everyone, we're taking notes!"

Castiel spent the rest of the two hour class watching Mr. Winchester, absolutely captivated by his voice and the way he moved and how his perfect white teeth flashed under his plump, kissable lips. He stared at him, almost drooling over the man. Cas had never been so suddenly attracted before, and he'd never been so entranced by a complete stranger. It felt magnetic. Abruptly, the class was ending. Castiel only noticed because people had started to leave the room, and Mr. Winchester wasn't lecturing anymore. As, Castiel began to pack up his stuff, he suddenly realized that he hadn't written down a single word that his professor had said. He was on his way out of the giant classroom when he heard someone call out from behind him.
"Excuse me!"
Castiel whirled around, knowing immediately who had called. Mr. Winchester.
"Can you come here a moment?" His professor asked, waving him over to the desk he was sitting at, without looking up from his books.
Castiel felt his heart rate accelerating, and his breaths starting to come quicker. His professor was the hottest person he'd ever seen. He nearly danced over to the desk.
"Jennifer-" he began, staring at one of his books still.
Castiel's heart sank, he hadn't wanted to see him.
Mr. Winchester looked up calmly, expecting to see Jennifer, but when he looked up at Castiel he seemed not confused - but first shocked, and then shaken.
Cas felt his face grow hot. "Sorry, I guess you thought I was someone else." Mr. Winchester's eyes were startling green and he felt himself starting to sink into them.
"Uh," Mr. Winchester's voice sounded like it had gotten caught in his throat. He had the most peculiar expression on his face and he was staring directly into Cas's cobalt blue eyes. "Yes, I suppose I did," he cleared his throat.
"Um, yeah," Cas scratched the back of his neck and looked down. "I guess I'll be going then."
"I haven't seen you around before," he piped up before Cas could walk away.
"It's my first day," Cas replied.
"Oh well, welcome then! It's been good so far I hope?" Dean suddenly seemed more relaxed as the last remaining stragglers left the room.
"Yeah so far so good," Cas laughed nervously.
"What's your name?"
Castiel felt his heart jump. He wanted to know his name! "It's Castiel, I mean, er, I'm Castiel."
"Interesting, I like it," he paused, looking Cas over thoughtfully. "I'm Dean."
"I thought I was just supposed to call you Mr. Winch-"
Castiel was interrupted by Dean waving his hand, "No no, Dean is fine."
"Oh um, okay, cool. I guess," Castiel winced at his reply. It was MORE than cool. It was AMAZING.
"Yes," Dean laughed. "I'm sorry, but if you'll excuse me I've just got to-" Dean motioned behind Cas towards the door.
"Oh! Yeah no problem, I mean, uh not at all!" He stuttered.
"Hopefully I'll see you around," Dean said slyly, as he got up and walked away.

And if he wasn't quite mistaken, Castiel was sure that he saw him wink.
