Chapter 1
Elodie POV
The music pumped through my veins.
I couldn’t resist it.
It was like a drug calling out to me, to my blood and bones.
This is what I live for.
This happens every time, when the music starts following through me there is no going back.
And I don’t want to go back
“Hey you ready?” My eyes snapped open and followed the legs in front of me until I was met with a familiar pair of grey eyes. My drummer Danny.
“Yeah pull me up please” I said with pouty lips. I was sitting in the middle of the stage cross legged waiting for the guys to get ready so we could play our set.
Danny shook his head and rolled his eyes at me but stilled pulled me up.
My gaze swept over the crowd of dancing bodies looking for two faces. When I see the two faces I was looking for grinning in my direction I wink at them and walk in front of the microphone.
“Everybody having a great night” I said loud enough into the microphone to get the attention of the crowd.
The cheered in reply and I grinned.
“Well all of you who are new to Underground Madness I am Elodie, that’s my drummer Danny, Jake is our bass player and Kevin is our guitarist oh and we’re not a band” I said pointing to each boy in the back of me as I introduce them to the crowd.
“You guys ready” I yelled and the crowd cheered even more causing my grin to grow. This was my favorite part.
"Ready! Aim! Fire!"
