M The day began like any other day for Sollux. All his morning classes were the same as always. His first class of the afternoon is when it goes from normal to bad. Specifically on his way to class.
He's on his way to Home Ec. Before he can reach the class he is stopped by his bully, Eridan Ampora. Eridan is in the same grade as him. Eridan frequently bullies Sollux and tries to make Sollux his lover after the fact of the bullying. Sollux always refuses Eridan's offer of love, which results in more bullying by him.
"Hey Sol, I've been meanin to ask about-"
"Don't even bother ED. I'm not interethted." Sollux cuts off Eridan before he finishes. Eridan pushes Sollux into the wall, pinning him there.
"Sol, I'm not takin no for an answer." he gets dangerously close to Sol's face. Sol turns his face away.
"ED. I thwear if you touch me I will kick your athth." Eri rubs his thumb against Sol's jaw.
"I'm touchin you. Whatcha gonna do about it?"
"You should check your privileges." They turn towards the voice. Its upper classman and class president, Kankri Vantas. He doesn't give Eri time to respond.
"He obviously does not want you touching him. And if I heard correctly, you were trying to bully him. I believe the principals would be very happy to hear about this. Especially coming from the class president and star student of the school. I suggest getting lost before I decided to speak louder. Oh look a principal is right down the hall too...." Kankri says. Effortlessly continuing off the previous sentence each time.
Eridan backs off, he heads into the classroom.
"Are you ok Sollux? Did he hurt you?"
"No. I'm fine. You came in before he could do anything." Sol moves away from the wall rubbing his shoulder. Sol starts to walk into Home Ec. Kankri follows, mostly because he also has this class, Eri has this class as well.
"Good. It would be awful if he did anything to you." Sol sits in his usual spot. Kankri stands by the seat besides his."Do you mind if I take this seat for today? I don't want him to be bugging you."
"Yeah. Itth fine. I don't mind at all." Sol says.
He takes the seat. "If it doesn't trigger you, TW:#bullying, #possible abuse, #consistency, #possible sexual harassment. How long has this been going on?"
Sol blinks at the strange formation of the question.
"Itth fine. Not much triggerth for me. Um, for a while. It uthually doethnt get thexual. Not to trigger you or anything, but why do you care?" Sol says uncertainly.
"I appreciate the attempt of tagging your triggers. You are so far the only one to attempt it with me. So thank you for that. I'm glad it hasn't got too far yet. Care....... I care because, I, I...... I have a strong desire to rid this school of bullying. You especially do not deserve to be bullied. It seems a little estranged between us, but we are friends. Even if we do not talk much. I know you hang out with Karkat a lot. Even if I am older, we should not feel awkward around each other. We are both still young and have lots to learn....." He continues to talk. Sol listens. Sollux talks very little throughout the conversation, he feels kind of depressed and is still shaked up from the encounter with Eri. Kankri talks until the teacher decides to start teaching. Sollux falls asleep when the teacher starts speaking.
Sol wakes with a start. Kankri is shaking him awake.
"I am very sorry that awaking you has startled you. Class is going to end soon. I would hate for you to be late for class. "
