This is a story about a girl named Marceline.
She's a half demon. A bat demon. Which means she has deep purple bat wings. And also, she can change into a bat. But this requires much energy, so she only does it in the time of need.
She has long, curly, naturally black hair. She also has eyes that change color depending on her mood. Positive moods, black. Negative moods, they change to red. None of these eye colors have a pupil.
Her skin's has a small hint of a tan. She also has a mark of a bat on both of her wrists. She tries to cover them up as much as possible. She got these when she left Hell and decided to live on Earth at age 5. She's 13 now.
She hides her emotions behind a dark and mysterious attitude and can be really cool or leave you frozen in fear.
She is usually a quiet and shy person unless you mess with her friends and family. Speaking of which, she has no friends, and she only has one human as her family. She's not even blood related. Her name is Aunt Jane in this story.
She usually wears a gothic style of clothing.
She later changes her name later on.
