School.
A pain in the ass. Always has been, always will be. Here I was studying day and night just to be a doctor. I just want to save people. Give them hope, when they have lost all. However Med school isn't cheap. The positions for being a part time nurse were all taken. So I was stuck working at a cafe, but they didn't pay me enough. I needed to get another job.
I walked into my small apartment after a long day at work. My roommate Andrea was on the couch watching TV.
"Welcome back loser" she said
"I'm gonna go to bed"
"What!? I thought we were going to the club!" she exclaimed
"I can't. I'm so tired and I have school in the morning"
"You're no fun"
"I'm so stressed out. I barely have enough money to pay rent or buy food"
"Why don't you get another job?" she asked
"Where?"
"I don't know, but I'll help you look"
"Thanks Andrea"
"No problem. I'm gonna party I'll be back in a few hours."
Andrea was a good friend, she was nice and pretty. She had freckles and orange hair. Beside being super sweet she was a party animal. I went to my room and collapsed on my bed, falling into a deep sleep.

I woke up to the sound of someone throwing up. I went to the bathroom and saw Andrea vomiting.
"That's what you get for drinking too much" I said
"Shut up" she continued to throw up.
"By the way I got you a new job"
She gave me a piece of paper with a phone number and an address.
"What!!! Really?!" I squealed
"Yeah. Some guy's friend needed a maid or something"
"What! A maid! I don't want to be a maid!"
"You are desperate aren't you?"
"Well I guess"
"Besides it's only until you get your shit together" Andrea explained
"I guess. Let me go make us some coffee"
I went into the kitchen to make the coffee.
Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea. I mean it's only for a while. I grabbed my phone and dialed the number.
"Hello" a male voice answered
"Hi. I was calling for the job." I said awkwardly
"Oh yeah. You need to come by for the interview. Do you have the address?" He asked
"Yeah."
"Is 3 okay?"
"Yeah, that's fine" I said
"Okay I'll see you then"
And with that he hung up.
I went to my room and changed, then I went to school. I felt so useless sitting in my classroom listening to the professor giving his lecture. I wanted to be out there saving lives doing something. I wanted to be a part time nurse.
"That's all for today. Class is over" the teacher said
I walked home back to my apartment. I looked at my watch, and saw that it was 1:30. I have plenty of time to shower.

After showering I put on some formal clothing. I put on a pencil skirt with a white button up. Then I put my hair up in a messy bun.
"Hey Andrea, can you give me a ride to this place?" I asked
She was on the couch watching The Walking Dead.
"I'm kinda busy. Why don't you take the car, the keys are on the table."
I grabbed the keys and left the house. I followed the instructions on my phone to get to the address on the piece of paper Andrea gave me. The drive was 20 minutes long.
When I got there, I saw a beautiful house.
Wow. This guy must be rich. I wonder what he does for a living.
I also noticed the amount of girls standing outside the house. They were all wearing similar shirts, saying 'Set it Off'.
What's that all about, I wondered.
There was a man telling some of the girls to leave. He was tall and kind of chubby, he had blue eyes and brown hair. He was pretty cute.
He looked at me
"Hey are you here for the job?" he asked
"Yeah. Am I at the right place?" I asked
"Yup. Please come in."
He grabbed my hand and pulled me inside the house.
You could hear many of the girls screaming 'Zach I love you'
"So Umm do you know who I am?" he asked
"Umm no sorry. Am I supposed to?"
"No it's cool. I'm Zach DeWall" he extended his hand out and I shook it.
"I'm y/n l/n."
"Nice to meet you y/n" he said with a cute smile.
"Are you the owner of this place?" I asked
He chuckled
"No this is my friends house. I'm only here to ask you questions. You see my friend is almost always busy with work and shit, so me and some of my other friends thought it would be best to hire a maid for him."
I nodded my head understanding the situation.
"Anyway I'll give you a tour around the house, while I ask you some questions."
"Okay"
"Soooo umm why do you want this job?"
"I need to pay for med school" I said
"Oh. That's cool"
We walked into a nice cozy room with a fireplace and a large couch.
"This is the living room and right over here is the kitchen"
The kitchen was huge, that's gonna take forever to clean.
He showed me his friend's room and the guest room.
"What does your friend do for a living?" I asked
"We're in a band called Set it Off"
"That explains all the girls outside."
He chuckled "Yea."
"Are you the lead singer?" I asked
"No I just play guitar"
"Oh that's cool" Zach chuckled
"So I'm guessing you know how to clean right?"
"Yes. Of course I can"
"Okay good"
"Where's your friend right now?" I asked
"Oh, he's out on a date with his girlfriend"
"Ohh okay"
"Anyway you seem like a very nice person so you're hired"
"Oh is that all?"
"Yeah. I'm just making sure you're not a fangirl."
I smiled "okay thank you so much"
"I'll pay you at the end of each month. 9 dollars per hour."
"Thank you so much"
Nine dollars was a lot for me, at the cafe they usually paid me 7 dollars per hour.
"One more thing, here is your uniform" he handed me a blue maid dress. (picture above)
"Umm do I have to wear this?"
"It's just so your clothes don't get dirty"
"Oh okay. Thanks. When do I start?"
"Is tomorrow at 6 okay?" He asked
"That's perfect"
