it is my birthday today. My friends have been over and I had fun. But, I really miss alex. He's on tour with austin and won't be home for a couple weeks. I was sitting on my couch watching my favorite movie when my phone goes off. I look at the caller ID and see it's alex."hey rebecca" he says through the phone. "Hey alex I miss you!" I tell him. "Aw me too babe I'll talk to you later alright?" He replies. "Yeah bye" I say and hang up. He didn't even say happy birthday. Did he forget?. I snap out of my thoughts when I hear a knock on my door.

I go and open it up revealing alex standing there. "Oh my gosh! Alex!" I yell and jump into his arms. He spins me around and kisses my cheek. "Hey rebecca!" He says with a smile. "What are you doing here?" I ask. "Well tour ended a bit early and I wanted to come see my girlfriend for her birthday!" He explains. "Aw you didn't forget?!" I say. "No how could I?" He says with a wink. "I also got you this" he says and pulls out a little square box. He opens it to reveal a silver ring that has a gold heart on it. "Aw" I say. "It's a promise ring, will you wear it?" He asks. "Of course" I say as he slips it onto my finger.
