The Call

Y/N POV

   I picked up and saw it was Red.
   "Hey Red,"
   "It's Max isn't it? He's taking you on a date isn't he?" He asked, urgently.
   "So what if he is?" I ask him defensively.
   "Be careful. I don't trust him," he tells me. I laugh and say okay. Then I hang up.

   As I finished getting ready I looked into the mirror in my room. I was wearing a F/C dress with S/F/C converse. I had my short hair half up. I was wearing the chain necklace my older brother gave me. I couldn't help but think of what Red would think  if he knew I wore Jason's necklace. I shook off that thought as the doorbell rang.
   When I got downstairs I smoothed my dress and opened the door. Max stared at me when the door opened. He was wearing at nice suit. I smiled as he offered me his arm. I kindly took it as he led me towards his car. He took me to Olive Garden. When I saw the sign I burst out laughing and he looked at me with an odd face. I calmed down and he laughed.
   "I'm sorry but you are so adorable," he said laughing. I blushed and grabbed his hand. I smiled at him as our fingers intertwined. We walked in hand in hand and enjoyed our dinner.
   When he dropped me off at my house I hugged him and when I pulled away our eyes met. We looked at each other for a while before he took me by surprise. He kissed me and I gladly kissed back. When we pulled apart I smiled at him and he walked me to my front door. He gave me a kiss on the cheek before he left. I went on my phone to text Bff/N and when I entered my room my phone dropped and my hand reached for my neck as fast as possible.
