The trainer and Pokemon pair finally stopped at one house in particular, after endlessly searching through the streets of Lumiose City. The house was aesthetically pleasing without it being overly fancy. It was the feeling of how neat and well-kept the house was that separated it from other houses. It was as if there was a line of symmetry straight down the middle of the house; one side looked exactly like the other. The house was two storeys high with double wooden doors for an entrance. The left side had three windows on the bottom floor and two windows on the top floor, which was replicated on the other side. In between the two sides of the houses and above the entrance, there was a small balcony. A walkway separated two sections of the front yard that had flowers and plants surrounding like a border, with neatly mowed grass in the middle. Overall, the house looked very welcoming to guests and onlookers.
After admiring the estate for a little while longer, the two decided to walk up to the door and knock, in hopes of finding that person.
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
They waited for a reply, but no one came or said anything, so they decided to knock again.
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
A faint voice yelled from inside the house, "I'm coming!" Even though it was muffled, the voice sounded familiar. There was a glimpse of hope. Maybe it was because the voice came from inside the house that made it sound familiar, but he had high hopes. It had to be her; that voice sounded too similar to not be her.
The sound of a door unlocking came from behind the double doors, just before the wooden doors slowly opened. A girl with slightly longer than shoulder-length, honey-blonde hair appeared from the entrance. A wave of happiness hit him as he recognised who it was. His heart started to rapidly speed up, it pounded against his chest. The two stared each other in the eyes. The auburn eyes met with the ocean-blue eyes. Then, the one with blue eyes decided to speak up.
"Hi," she said with reluctance, "Are you looking for someone?"
