Chapter: 7 Building a Home & Getting Back to Business

After a four week stay in the hospital, it was time for them to go home. When they pulled into the driveway,Monte got out and opened the door so that they could get the babies inside. "Welcome home little ones"Zhyaire whispered as she carried them inside. She carefully made her way upstairs to the nursery, and set them lovingly in the custom made twin crib. As they slept, she watched them with a smile and thought about everything that happened before this point. As she pondered these things,she felt herself jump a little as her husband wrapped his arms around her waist. "They are so beautiful"Monte whispered in her ear. "Yes they are" she said with a smile. He kissed them on the cheek softly, then grabbed her hand and led her out if the room and closed the door. As they walked into the office,Monte closed the door behind her and turned to look his wife in the eyes. "So I don't want to hire a nanny,and I'm sure you don't wanna put them in daycare right now. She nodded in agreement. "You are right Bae,but we both need to work so that we can keep everything paid"said Zhyaire. "Well why don't you work from home until they are six months. Then we can talk about finding a nanny and you going back to work"said Monte. "OK love that sounds reasonable"Zhyaire replied. They smiled at each other and exchanged a kiss. It was time to get back to business.
