It's been a while since my first move to Ohio. I love my new family. Dad is actually a YouTuber. He vlogs every day and I try to stay out of the way as much as I can, but it's hard. I can only stay cooped up in my room for so long without going insane. So I'm usually outside with the dogs. I don't like riding dirt bikes, so I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb here. Mom was pregnant too, so if she needed something that only I'd be able to understand, she called me or texted me, depending on where she was. In the house or in the Smile More store, which, actually, is where I spent most of my time, helping fill orders, pack them and ship them off. It was fun and I did it for so long that I actually started getting paid for it. I wasn't complaining. That just means I can save it and get what I want. I don't know what that is, but I for sure know I want my own car. And I don't want Dad to take me to the dealership, let me pick one out and him buy it for me, like he did grandpa. It'd defeat the purpose of me working.

"Julie!" I hear dad call out and watch Flash get up and run to dad, barking. "Not you, Flash. I called my daughter." I hear him say as I walk down the stairs to see him standing in front of the sliding glass doors that lead onto the patio.

"Yeah?" I ask and he looks at me and smiles.

"I'm going to go pick up Noah. You want to come?" He asks and I shrug.

"Sure."

"I'll go get the car." He says, walking toward the garage door.

"Which one. We have twenty."

"We have three." Dad defends and I laugh. "I'll be in Clifford though." He says and I nod, I go up and get changed and head back down and get in the truck with dad.

"Or do you want Noah to have the front seat?" I ask and she shrugs.

"Let's let him decide." Dad says before we drive off the property and to get Noah.

After we had gotten Noah, dad started driving again, but into town.

"So as you guys know, Julie has been working in the store. Every day. Her and Brit wake up, they work out, Julie does the assignments Brit gives her and then she goes out to work when she's done with her homeschooling. So since she's been working so hard and with such dedication, I decided that I would bring her to town and let her choose what she wants to spend her money on." Dad says into the blog camera before turning it to me.

"I kinda wanna get some music stuff. And some soccer stuff so I can keep training, but the sporting goods stores are already closed." I say and dad smiles before driving us to a music store. All three of us get out and walk in and I go where my feet take me. Not caring if dad and Noah are following or not. I get to the guitars and look at all of them. Then a beauty catches my eye. I walk over and pick it up and strum it slightly and groan at the sound, but jump when I hear a voice.

"How can I help you?" I hear and look up to see a girl with light brown hair and striking green eyes.

"Uh, how much is this guitar?"

"That model is about $150, $200. But I'm afraid I can't sell you that specific guitar."

"Why not?" I ask, genuinely curious.

"It's our trial guitar."

"Can't you pull some strings? This guitar is screaming for me to take it home with me." I say and the girl thinks for a moment.

"Let me talk to my boss." She says before disappearing and I shrug before letting my fingers form random chords as I strum the guitar. A couple minutes later, the girl returns. "Well, you can buy it. Anything else I can help you with?"
