I was just an everyday girl finishing my final year at college. I was going to a gala for my internship with a ton of bigwigs. I walked in with my friends as we decided to just walk around and enjoy the silent auction occurring. We were all talking and laughing when my friends convinced me to go onto the dance floor. No one was listening to the music and was avoiding the dance floor. I was laughing and having fun as all my coworkers and friends were enjoying me making a fool of myself. People joined the side lines to watch me. Tons of men were watching with smiles across their faces. The music slowed down and I began to walk off the side when a tall well built man came over to me.
"May I have a dance with you?" I looked at my friend and roommate Lexi. She smiled and nodded her head at me to dance with him.
"Sure only one willing to start the dance anyway." I laughed. As I looked up at him I noticed he had dark blue eyes. His hair was raven black it was pushed back and to the side. I was in aw at how handsome he was.
"You are such a great dancer." I laughed a little, he was beginning to make me nervous.
"Thank you, glad you wanted to join me." We danced for a few minutes as I could feel his strength in his body indicating he was well built under that expensive suit.
"So, how did you get invited?" He asked me as we continued to dance around. He was much taller than me but a comfortable difference.
"Oh, I am just an intern and we get hours for coming." I looked at him wanting to make him smile. "Plus I heard there was free food." I laughed a little as he looked at me. "I am a senior in college, so you know food is a priority." He did not say much. "Sorry, I am talking so much."
"It's alright your funny." He was smiling his teeth were perfectly alined like little sucklings and his teeth were as white as snow. "I forgot to ask your name."
"Oh it's Sabrina and yours?" How could I have forgotten that question.
"Nicholas and you can call me Nico."
"Well, I am glad to meet you Nico." The song ended as lexi hurried over to me.
"Sab we got to head out." I turned to say bye to Nicholas but he was gone. Looking around the croud I could not see him anywhere. We headed out and into my convertible.
