Chapter 5: Caught in the Middle

I sat down on the stool at the bar counter and sipped my vodka. What is wrong with me? Get over it!

I drank the alcohol straight up and my throat burned. I groaned.

Napatingin ako sa bartender na ngayon ay nakatingin sakin. I lifted my glass and signalled him to get me some more. He stared at me before giving me the glass.

What is it with men and staring?

I leered inwardly. I raised my glass before heading to the balcony.

Nakakainis! Bwiset talaga!

Is it that hard to move on? It's not like something happened...

I think.

Dashiel successfully removed my shirt and was about to unclasped my bra when my phone rang. And it was enough to wake me from that crazy situation. I got up and awkwardly answered the call as I heard the door shut.

It was Tita Nova. And he was asking if I happen to know his son's whereabouts and I do.

'He just left and we nearly did it.' I face palmed.

I told her I'd call her if I happen to see him and she ended the call.

I sighed at how Tita Nova saw us. She seem to see me as Dash's friend even if we barely even know each other. And it doesn't help that she sounded frustrated and was definitely crying so I have no choice but to tell him.

So I did.

I called Evans and he told me Dash's on room 1609.

Every step I take directing me to his room feels horrifyingly crazy. I didn't know how many times I shook my hands and how many times I reminded myself to just 'Talk and walk away.'

If I knew her mother would call, I should have not kissed him back! I went here to just unwind and this is what I get. A headache.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I found myself just adjacent to his room.

I was about to knock when I noticed a black shoe stucked on his doorway. I kicked it in before opening the door "Dash...shit!?"

I scowled as they continued making out like there's no tomorrow.

"Get out." I said sounding helpless as I bowed my head and faked my sobbing even more.

When I heard the door shut, I slowly lifted my chin and showed Dash my famous grin as he stared at me with amusement.

I raised my hand. "Just reminding you that unprotected sex is not good." I shrugged before laughing so hard.

But the moment his lips formed a devious smile, my grin got wiped out and I took a step backward.

He stood up.

He was half-naked and my eyes widened even more when my gaze averted somewhere...down there. Shit!

My insides frenzied so I turned my back before he could do anything

But I wasn't even near the door when I was grabbed and pinned on the wall. I swallowed hard at the sight of Dash's dark orbs.

He let out a sly smile and pinned me even more.

"C-couldn't take a joke?" I laughed nervously. He bit his lip and my I can hear my heart beating erratically.

He leaned in before nuzzling my neck. My breathing hitched. I readied myself for anything but shit, I wasn't ready at all!

Nagpabalik-balik ang tingin ko sa katawan naming magkadikit at sa kanya na titig na titig sakin. I saw his lump move and I turned crazy red.

I pushed him hard. "Manyak ka talaga!" And I went out half-running without minding how messed up I am.

Napasabunot ako lalo sa buhok ko. "What the heck! Tatlong araw na Kreyon! Get over it!" I hissed.

Pero napatigil ako sa pagsimsim ng vodka ng magtama ang mata namin ni Dash na ngayon ay may kasama na namang babae na hinahaplos-haplos ang braso niya at maarteng bumubulong sa kanya.

I continued drinking without breaking our staring game dahil pinapangatawanan ko ang pagmo-move on ko sa ginawa niya. I can't let him know that I am still affected! That was not my first time! Stop acting like a freaking virgin!

Pagkukumbinsi ko sa sarili ko ng may biglang umungol sa madilim na parte ng bar, malapit sa balcony.

"Aah! Faster." Naibuga ko ang vodka na iniinom ko at bigla akong namula when I remembered what I saw at his hotel room.

"Harder babe." Ungol pa ng babae. "Hard." I whispered. "It was not that hard!" I said through gritted teeth as I emptied my vodka.

But I almost choked when I saw Dash who was now standing just right in front of me, grinning.

"You can feel it again if you want." He cocked.
