Dreams happen when you're asleep or awake
Dreams can turn out to be real but some just fake
You can dream you will find the love of your life
maybe one day she could be your wife
But these promises are broken, hearts are destroyed
Forever isn't really forever and always never lasts
but yet, we still dream
We still wish for just a gleam
It shatters our heart and mind
The things we wish but never find
