Hey guys... So I'm making them live in New York for this (THE SQUAD) and so, since I live in New York, I can write from experience, considering I lived through Hurricane Sandy.... THIS TIME IT IS A REAL HURRICANE BECAUSE HAHAHAHA

---------------------------------

John was sitting nervously on the couch, Alexander at one of his classes. He hadn't told Alexander but, their area was on Hurricane Watch and they were definitely getting one the day after. He watched the News, praying it was a false alarm. Instead he was greeted with, "This isn't a false alarm. The hurricane will hit in about 4 hours. Everyone, restock and prepare for a dangerous amount of time"

John sighed and put his head in his hands. Normally, he'd probably be slightly scared. This time, he was close to tears. If his boyfriend, Alexander Hamilton, was scared of thunderstorms, who knew what would happen if there was a real hurricane?

He felt his phone ring. It was a new chat with himself, Lafayette, Hercules, The Schuyler Sisters and Burr. It excluded Alexander, as they'd be talking about the upcoming hurricane

Lafayette

Okay, everyone bring some food and supplies. Eliza, you're a psychology and medical major, right?

Eliza

Yeah, we're coming. I'll help.

Me

Thanks guys. I was just watching the news. 4 hours.

John put his phone down and waited a few more minutes for Alexander to come home. Finally, he did. Alexander didn't know yet, and so, he put his stuff down and went next to John. "Alex? I have to tell you somet-", John was interrupted when the door, which Alexander left open, was slammed open. "We're here. Did you tell him yet?", Angelica asked. Everyone followed her in.

"I'm about to. Look, Lex, in four hours... Erm... We'll be having a hurricane.", John admitted. Alexander froze. "A-A real hurricane? We're g-gonna... h-have a real... I-I.. W-We have to go, John, w-we're go-gonna die.. We're gonna die!", Alexander began to repeat the last sentence, occasionally screaming it. His heart sped up, even as John wrapped his arms around him in comfort.

Alexander was soon crying into his knees, not calming down at all. Then, the first lighting struck them. Alexander jumped, slightly yelping. Eliza got John to move away. "Sh.. Alex, it's okay. We're all going to be fine..", she told him, in a tranquil voice. He didn't seem to be listening, as he was screaming and trembling. "Calm down.."

Alexander's breathing became uneven and Eliza panicked. "A-Alex.. Calm. Take deep breaths. One, Two, Three, Four...", she whispered. Alexander's breathing worsened, and it seemed he couldn't hear anyone. "I-I- we-we're g-go-", he was cut off because he had to gasp for air. Eliza pulled out some of her medical supplies. "His breathing is coming short. Shit. John, help?", she asked.

Her voice sounded like it was dipped in fear. John went over to Alexander. "Lex. Lexi, breathe. C'mon...", he trailed off. Alexander was about to calm down, when the lights went out. He screamed, the only light source being the lightning. "Close your eyes. It's fine. We're all here.", Eliza told him.

They all were huddled around him, having to look away. One look at him, and they'd all most likely break down. Alexander started to mutter one sentence. "I-I can't *gasp* breathe."

He started to say this until, he stopped. All he could do was desperately gasp for air as Eliza tried to help. "'Liza? Check his heart with the stethoscope.", Peggy instructed. Eliza nodded and proceeded to do it. Alexander, of course, struggled and squirmed. Finally, Eliza got it in the right place. Her eyes went wide. "It's beating way too fast. He's having a panic attack. Isn't your neighbour a senior in medical? Get him!", Eliza yelled, panicked.

John ran and got their neighbour. It was James Madison. James came in with Thomas Jefferson and John and immediately got to work. He tried everything, until there was one choice left. He looked at John. "There's literally one other thing I could do."

John nodded. James pulled out a tranquilizer. "What is that?", John asked. "A tranquilizer. Not a big one."

He stuck it in Alexander and put it in him. Finally, Alexander's heartbeat went back to normal and he fell asleep in John's arms. They only sounds heard was the whistling wind and the sound of police cars, ambulances, and fire trucks. John sighed in relief.

"Should we stay? This probably won't be the last time..", James proposed. They all nodded. John did something unexpected. He started to cry. Lafayette and Hercules tried to comfort him. "It's alright, mon ami. Alexander will be fine...", Lafayette muttered to him.

"Yeah. He's tough enough to handle it.", Hercules agreed. "Do you know what caused it?", James asked. John nodded, wiping his tears. "Yeah... A hurricane struck his island and killed many people. His brother included... His mother got sick after that. And when she died, all of his friends had been killed in the hurricane so he had to fend for himself until he wrote himself out of the island and into where he is now..", John explained.

James nodded, his eyes slightly wide. It was hard to believe, considering the fact that he was loud and confident. "Not to dig too deep but, has he shown any signs of... Uhm.. Depression?", James asked.

John thought for a second before nodding. "Self harm...", he muttered. His friends gasped. "R-Really?", was said throughout the crowd. He nodded, looking down at the brown tiles. He felt the air get colder, rain wracking the town. He closed the curtains, and grabbed a large flashlight. He clicked it on, content that they could see.

He shone the light on Alexander, who was still sleeping, tears staining his face. John ran his hands through Alexander's hair. "He'll be up tomorrow.", James assured him.

John nodded again and sighed, wishing he could ignore the troubles around them. "Who's up for dinner? I brought a lot of food.", Hercules asked. "He really did. Like, a lot.", Lafayette agreed. Everyone except Jefferson got up, going to eat.

Jefferson was still there, speechless. The only other times he's seen Alexander Hamilton so... utterly helpless was when Alexander was with John. He walked over to them. A question stirred in his mind. "What do we do when he wakes up?", Jefferson questioned. Everyone froze. "U-Um.. We should try and comfort him.", Angelica decided, sheepishly.

They all agreed, glancing over at Alexander. When they finished, they retired to the living room. "We should all stay in here for when he wakes up..", Peggy suggested. They were way to tired to disagree, and so, they made makeshift beds. Of course, everyone except Jefferson and Madison brought a large amount of items, basically becoming at home.

They fell asleep with one thought.

'This will be a long 2 weeks.'

Hey guys! Thanks for reading. As you can see, I said 2 weeks. There'll be more than 14 chapters. I think I'll make Alexander's recovery after the hurricane.
